Ken's New Market

Great local grocery in Flemingsburg. Essentials are always stocked and produce is rotated for easier display. However, the deli is the star of the show with daily homemade items. A true local favorite.

I have been there several times to get something off of their lunch buffet, as well as others at my work. Very fresh, very tasty. The ladies that helped me were very courteous. Not sure about the cleanliness of the whole dept. but the buffet looked pretty clean. Thumbs up!

The management completely sucks. They have no customer service skills at all.! The deli is disgusting, nothing is properly cleaned, there's mold and dirt built up on everything. The dishes are so covered in grease they need to be trashed. The girls in the deli/pizza area ignore customers, cusses in front of them, talks about how dumb another customer is/was in front of other customers and are constantly too busy talking to take care of customer orders. I got fired for my sister making a complaint about the deli to management, and while my sister had this experience with the deli girls I was on break. Since I stood up for my sister I suppose that's why I lost my job. They treat their own employees awful, with the lowest pay possible, and the deli was so dirty I'll be happy to find another job!! There definitely needs to be something done about the piss poor management and the attitude of the employees at Ken's new market!
