Chic-peas pureed with fresh lemon juice, olive oil and garlic. Paired with toasted sliced pita, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, tomatoes and cucumbers. Lightly drizzled with olive oil and dashed with paprika.

What a charming little spot! Smack in the middle of St. Matthews, Kayrouz is a blink and you'll miss it restaurant near Trinity.A friend and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and it was a great decision. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. We started with the Guacamole Louise which was so fresh and flavorful and the homemade chips were perfect. For my meal, I chose the avocado & brie sandwich with fries. The chicken was so tender and the garlic aioli was so yummy. The fries were not too thick and not too skinny-perfect for me. The portions are huge and I had enough for dinner that night.I will 100% be back!

We finally had a meal there for the first time. Although the online menu was not accurate we were still able to get a good meal at a reasonable price. I opted for the haddock special with sweet potato fries and slaw. My wife had the chicken salad melt and fries. Both were filling. In fact my wife had leftovers. I had a huge piece of haddock that was quite tender and flaky. Service was quick and friendly.

I came here with my sister on a Saturday around 2pm. We were the only ones for quite a while. Calm & casual service. We had a relaxing time. The chili had a strong tomato flavor but it was good. The fries were so good. Fresh & crispy. Our sandwiches were so good. They both had bacon & it was cooked perfect. I got the Avocado & Brie Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was awesome. My sister got the BLAT add Turkey & all of her ingredients were fresh. We both had half to take home! We have zero complaints. 10/10 Recommend. Plus it's supporting local ;)

My Husband and I have passed by this cafe multiple times a week for three years and finally stopped in. We are so disappointed... that we don't stop in sooner!!!We sat in the eating area facing Willis. The area had great sunlight and a great view of the patio. We were greeted immediately with true and genuine hospitality. My Husband ordered the Gordos BBQ Burger and I had the Smokin Joe chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were absolutely delish! Both the burger and chicken were juicy, dressed beautifully and had very fresh buns. We will be back, and often! Love this family owned small business in our neighborhood!
