Just Off the Brick Pizza

Went 4:30pm mass Monday, looked across the street from the church, seen the sign so I stopped by " Just Off the Brick" pizza.Ordered the French Lick Veggie thin crust.First bite, I knew it was going to be a good one The crust was totally amazing, hands down the best EVER ! No flop, toasty underneath, sauce coulda been a little more tangy, but it was a great sweet tomato flavor. Veggies were fresh, black and green olives, tomato, cheese, mushrooms, onions,green peppers. Did I mention that crust ??Other menu items looked good, price was extremely good !#bestcrustever

We eat here almost every time we come to French Lick. Either in the restaurant or take it back to the resort to have a movie night with our daughter. Great "old school" pizza place and the people working there have always been very friendly.

My sister and I visited 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night about 8:30. 4 people total were in the restaurant eating. We ordered, waited approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Waitress comes to the table and asked if we had gotten any of our food. I told her we had not. She never turned the order in. Stated it would be about another 20 minutes or so. We declined waiting and left. I was disappointed.

Amazing tasting local family owned pizza bistro. Was brought here by my bff while we were on vacation! The food was great! we got the cheese filled breadsticks with their yummy marinara and cheese dipping sauces. So filling and tasty! Large portion too.Then came out real meal, the pizza! We ordered just a small mushroom and black olive pizza. The cheese was cooked perfectly the crust was crisp with that brick oven taste. The sauce tasted homemade and tomatoey! Very good and would recommend This pizzeria to anyone based on the food alone! So delicious! The atmosphere has that old school pizzeria/ diner feel. The walls were filled with old newspapers and pictures of the town in the past. Nostalgic and chill environment! The service people were friendly but didn't check back on us very much. That was the only awkward part having to go get someone for anything we needed and to try to pay when we were done. Other than that amazing place tho!

Our first visit to French Lick. we rode in 3 hrs on the bike, and wanted something homey and nice. "off the brick pizza" sounded good enough..we always wanted a brick oven cooked pizza. DONT BE FOOLED!!what it REALLY is....store bought dough slabs, (machine marks on the back) and mediocre pizza cooked in a quick oven like caseys has. price wasn't bad, flavor wasn't bad, and service was nice...NAME VERY MISLEADING!!"off the brick" means "just off of the brick street". and as much as the reviews said..it is NOT similar to Monicals. it wasn't bad, but definately not what we drove 3 hours to treat ourselves to.i would give it an..."it was ok"

We had been waiting literally close to an hour for my boyfriend's chicken fettuccine pasta. And when it got brought out, it had clearly been microwaved. Sauce was burnt to the plate. See picture.I waited 40 minutes for a small pizza, and it tasted cheap. Not worth it. They need to focus more on serving their customers than focusing on if I've brought in a water bottle full of my dissolved medicine or not. Don't come here. We told the waitress about our unsatisfactory experience and she didn't seem to care.

By far the worst service you can imagine. One waitress with 4 tables and we never received more water, our orders were wrong when they came out, and when we were ready to leave we had to go to the kitchen to get anyone to check us out. Other parties were there and everyone in the restaurant was standing just waiting to leave. Everyone could've left without paying because the staff was so inattentive. Just don't go here if you're visiting French Lick.

Ordered a pizza just after arriving in French lick and it did not disappoint! Location is very convenient, interior comfy and service fast and friendly.

food and service was great! not a ton of seating inside if you have a big group but wow the bbq chicken pizza was amazing. also had the chees pizz, ham n cheese sub, spaghetti and meatball's, and cheese bread. it was all great! husband and kids all left happy and full

Had no problems getting a table on a Thursday night. Our order was taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long at all for our pizza to come piping hot out of the oven. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious!
