Joelle's is here for all your hot chicken needs! The restaurant is a quick service style and was clean, well kept. The staff were friendly and greeted us. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly there wasn't anyone there.I tried the Ella's Fav which was not the least spicy but this had no spice whatsoever, still delicious but I expected some level of spice; the coleslaw was great. I look forward to visiting again and trying a higher spice level!

It's so sad that this place has gone so far down hill. I hate to leave this review. We went the other day and the chicken was like a dried up piece of shoe leather. We took a couple bites opened the sandwich up and both ended up throwing it away. Just not a piece of meat anyone would want to gnaw on.

Joella's Hot Chicken is a classic spot for chicken in Louisville and it has never done me any wrong. There's no complaints I have and it is always a solid choice if I'm in the mood for chicken. This time, I got the 2 jumbo thighs with parm garlic fries.The food is very good. The chicken is soft and juicy and tastes well with the spice level I chose (tweener) to give it just a little kick. But what I really like is their sauce. I got the jojo sauce this time around, but all their sauces tastes so good and makes the chicken even better. On top of that, the parm garlic fries are amazing. I love parmesan and I love garlic so naturally I love the parm garlic fries.The environment is nice as well. You order at a kiosk and the servers are all very friendly. The place is spacious and has a lot of seating including and outdoor space. It's a nice place that I often go to by myself, or with a friend or small group. The only downside is that their parking lot is small, but I've never had issue finding parking when I've been.Overall, Joella's is a solid chicken place that doesn't really have anything I can complain about. The food is great and the environment is great. What more could you ask for?

I have done a total 180 on Joella's since my first visit last year. I wasn't impressed with the chicken the first time but my subsequent visits changed my mind! I love their quarter dark, hot. It's perfectly spicy and the chicken is so moist. The garlic parm fries are delicious and the kale salad is one of the better ones I've had. The workers in there are always super friendly as well. The food comes out timely, too. Highly recommend!

Your guys's food is bomb I love the atmosphere, the people who work there and your delicious fried chicken. I am not from here I came in a few months ago with a group of people and ever since I tried your ghost pepper tenders I can't get enough. I do want to shoutout the crew there tonight though they were excellent and very attentive to anything I needed. I hope you get to see this.
