Nice fun place full of locals having a good time. We go here every year for my best friend's birthday and have never been disappointed. It is a small, intimate place with friendly staff. The live music is led by Jerry Green himself & he does a great job making everyone feel welcomed and entertained. The drinks a tad pricey, but they NEVER skimp on alcohol.

I really like this place, it was my first time here. I loved the live piano player. I was impressed that they had a craft beer on tap.... they also have any kind of liquor you could want.

I really like Jerry Green as an entertainer and I like the way this club is set up. But last Saturday, we arrived late and it was standing room only. The bouncers pushed me twice to get me behind a red line on the floor and closer to the bar. A man seated at the bar then threatened me twice since he didn't "like a man so close to him," but said my girl friend would be OK. Fuck that. Not going back.

When we lived in Lexington, my husband and I used to stay at the Breckinridge Inn at least once a year for a Valentine's Day date. We'd go have a nice dinner and then dance the night away here. It's been a few years since we left KY, but the club is just as fun, and Jerry Green is just as good, as ever! His sets range from classic R & B to funk to some modern pieces like "Happy." It's impossible not to stay on the dance floor.

What a Surprise! Came with friends for the live music and to dance. It is inside a hotel on the lower level. Plenty of close parking around back. Local friends said this was a senior citizen hang out. Far from accurate. There are mature adults before 10:00p with a piano man playing ballads, but the atmosphere drastically changes. It was a Friday Night and the band was Groovin'. The atmosphere is nice, small dance floor but a lot of tables. The bar has sparkling wine and was fully stocked with beer and top shelf brands. Even though there is a cover and a two drink minimum it is well worth it. Drinks are reasonably priced. If you haven't been because you thought it was slow, check it out. Great for a night out of live entertainment.

If you are looking for a night out with or without that special someone, this is a great choice. Why/ For starters, the music, with JG as the featured vocalist & his thumping band you will enjoy an array of your favorite oldies R&B, and the Blues. For the most part the service is good, Friendly, mature patrons, and now they offer good food too

Was hanging at the bar from 7pm and having a good time speaking with everyone including Jerry Green. Bouncer comes in around midnight to kick me out for no reason (It was open till 3am.)I kept asking for the reason and all he said was "You gotta leave." Called the cops on me and the bouncer said I was kicked out because I didn't pay the entree fee of $8. Nobody asked me when I entered and I had no clue about it. I was at the bar the previous night for a couple of hours and nobody asked me to pay the entree fee that time too. The place was not packed and I would have paid the entree fee had I known about it. Not sure if it was racial profiling but would not recommend for any people other than Americans.Got a short video of the event and can share upon request.

Mr. Jerry Green is an amazing artist. However, the help, for instance provides poor customer service. Based upon, a conversations i listen to about a Latina asking Jerry Green if he would play Reggaeton during the breaks. They then started laughing and making comments about we don't play that music here. I became extremely offended and ask him if he thought I was Latina, he said no, because I am a dark Latina!I will never return and give my hard earn dollars to staff that are unlearned and espoused colorism.
