Jasper Pub 'N' Grub

This place catered food to my work and I loved the pulled chicken sandwich very much! Took my wife in and we had excellent food. Service was good. Cool place inside and the air smelled of delicious BBQ.

I was in town for this first time due to work. We all decided to try this local place. They have burgers and pizza. We had a big group about 10 people. We all came to eat dinner. The waitress was nice taking our order and getting our drinks. She was helpful. The food came out hot and good however we felt like we had to hurry up and leave. I guess they close at 8pm and we didn't know that. We got there at 7pm but we were waiting on a few people. Once everyone was there we placed our order.They started vacuuming and getting the place ready to close. We felt like we had to get out of there even though we all were having fun socializing.

Good local restaurant. They have lots of options which is great! They have a wide variety of smoked sandwiches and house made sauces. We got the chips and Queso as an appetizer. It was white Queso and some good thin chips. The white Queso has some flavor, it is not too bland.I got the pulled pork. It was a little dry but once I put sauce on it I made it a lot better. I also got the bacon cheesy potatoes. I thought they were pretty good as well. The ribs were pretty good too. Not the best we ever had but pretty good. They offer them until they are out of them. The Mac and cheese is a light weight cheese. Pretty good. Nothing extraordinary.Service was 12/10. Super friendly, super fast.

Everything I've had from here has been delicious! The appetizers were so tasty. I recommend the buffalo chicken dip and the fried pickles. Perfect to share or eat by yourself! I had to burger with pork and onion rings on it. The pork was tasty and the onion rings were perfect on it. I got a side salad and it was yummy! The salad was bright green lettuce and a decent size. I'd definitely get this meal again! The staff has been super friendly each time I've visited. They're very accommodating for large groups. I love the patio area that can be open air or closed off depending on the weather.

Great Food!!. Even though our server was super busy, we still had great service. She recommended the hot honey sauce for the boneless wings. I would highly recommend it. We had the cauliflower crust and it was very good and not soggy as some can be. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I've now lived in jasper for many years and continuously recommend pub and grub to anyone who asks me where to eat in jaspers. Wings? Excellent. Pizza? Delicious? Loaded fries? I would die for them. Their drinks are great, service is always great too.

Rarely, do I wish I never ever ordered the meal ordered. Claim is good BBQ, nope. Three mediocre sauces. which no sauce could be added to the sticky thickly saturated sweet pork mess. The brisket was oddly perfectly formed slices with no bark. no fat and some bizarre season salted herb. Could be the worst BBQ meal possible in the state. Fries and the baked beans were good sides. TERRIBLE BBQ!Service was spotty and never should you have to hunt down your server to pay. She was found hanging out with coworkers in the AC once she was located.The dining outside is spacious and cooled by fans.

Not sure why we missed this place all these years but finally stopped in. What a great place. Great beer and liquor selection. Four Roses Small Batch Select - if you know, you know. Fantastic homemade wings and sauce. Great BBQ everything. Will be back.

Great for groups. Fast service and wonderful food. They accommodated our softball team with ease!

I wish I could leave a better review but I'm floored at what I had experienced here. I am new to the area as I just accepted an assignment at the hospital for the next few months. One of my favorite things to do is experience and try new foods and restaurants within the area I travel to. Jasper Pub 'n' Grub had great reviews so I was excited to check this place off of my list. I walk in, and it seemed to be a good atmosphere!! I sat down at the bar and ordered my usual. The bartender asked if I'd like a dinner menu, and I agreed. She asked for my I.D. and I handed it to her. She took a while looking at my driver's license but that's the norm since I am out of state. However, when she handed it back to me, she told me she needed to go talk to her manager because my I.D. stated "not for real ID purposes". I told her that it is in fact a real ID, just not the government issued "real ID" for flying. You could tell she was unsure of the situation and went to talk to her manager. When she returned she goes "I'm sorry" and I said that's alright! I'll take a captain and coke and she responds, no, I cannot serve you nor can you sit at the bar, but if you want to move to a table, I'd happily serve you food. I was shocked. WHAT?! All because I haven't gotten my "real ID" yet for domestic flying. You're kidding. I kindly declined and left the pub. Morale of the story, if you haven't updated your driver's license with the "real ID", you won't be served here, nor will you be able to sit at the bar!!!! Smh. Horrible experience.
