Excellent food Some of the best Chinese in the city. It's a small restaurant so very cozy to go and eat.

Food was not authentic Chinese- didn't see any Asian cooks either in the back? Eggplant was pretty bad and sickeningly sweet like sautéed in straight hoisin sauce?! Too much stuff in the sizzling rice soup and no sizzling rice- it was just loose rice that came out afterwards and no sizzle. Broccoli and chicken was ok. Spareribs a bit sweet and just ok. And this is the first time, when you order brown rice thinking bc it is healthier, the "brown" rice you get is actually WHITE rice doused and sautéed in soy sauce to make it brown lol- that is a first!? I didn't notice or think of it til now if we were even charged more for the brown rice. You could see the white rice parts that the soy sauce missed-lol- I make this at home sometimes so I know by the flavor. Just found that amusing. Maybe they ran out of real brown rice or they think that is what brown rice meant bc technically it is brown rice lol! The staff was young and didn't know what we were trying to ask for when we asked for braised tofu. We gave up on that dish and said it was ok. Disappointed bc I was hankering for real good Chinese food, but not many spots in Kentucky that I saw in this area. Coming from CA, I was missing my Chinese food and I know my Chinese food!

Ordered Mongolian beef. I like this place because of the Szechuan options they have and like most of them. This time I tried something different, more Americanized Chinese option. Was ok, sauce was lacking, so I had to put sour cream sauce on it because it was kinda of dry. Not the worst Mongolian chicken I've had, but nothing to write home about. I like the restraint fr their sushi options and Szechuan options, I think I'll stick to those from now on. Was a solid just okay meal.

It's been a while since we've eaten here so I decided to give them a try for lunch since we were nearby. They have a nice selection of dishes on the lunch menu for $8.99. We chose the Sesame Chicken and the Chicken with Vegetables for our main dish. You get a choice of white or fried rice and egg drop or hot and sour soup. For an extra $1 you can get a salad and an egg roll. We chose both. We ordered hot tea as our beverage which was just right. Our server, Robert took our order and in no time returned with our tea and salad. The egg rolls were cooked perfect and had a very good flavor. The soup was extra good. My wife is very particular about her H & S soup and this one had her approval. The Ginger dressing on the salad was very good. Our main dishes were served hot flavorful and delicious. We will certainly try to come back more often.

Ambience: pretty decent, especially for an Asian establishment. There are 2 stores that connects through a hallway. The other side is the Japanese themed restaurant / bar areaFood: this is only for the lunch special. Updated menu included here. Very reasonably priced lunch prices. Large portion. Comes with soup. I got their spicy chicken. It wasn't too spicy (well I didn't ask for extra spicy, which I should considering we are not in an area known for Asian food). No Szechuan pepper, but tasty enough. Really salty though. Service: i came at the end of lunch and was one of the two parties. Quick service although no one came to check on me. got the spicy chicken lunch special.

Dan Dan Noodles we're very good. Very flavorful. Nice garlic taste. Atmosphere at restaurant was nice. I went on a Saturday afternoon. Place wasn't crowded. They have a full bar with a wide selection of cocktail and imported beers. Huge food menu, you can get great "American" Chinese. They also have great authentic Chinese selections as well. Great place to eat.

Finally! A legit hot pot in Louisville. It was "Asian" level spicy, good and affordable. Also, if you're like me who can't always handle the heat, you can opt to have two hot pot, one spicy and one mild. On top of the variety of schezuan dishes that they have they also have the sushi menu and your typical Chinese menu. This place is a bit of a drive from Louisville but this is a complete worth of a visit. The place is clean and there's a Graeter's Ice cream nearby if your tounge can't handle the heat. Super super love this place

Twice I've been here and both times I've ordered Sweet and sour pork rib. Both time the rib meat was tougher than it should be. Leads me to believe the order was frozen and microwaved. Also lacking flavor. I guess if you are looking for American Chinese food, this is your place. Not very Authentic in my opinion. Oh I also ordered their chicken fried rice. Eh... also lacking in flavor. All I taste is soy sauce.

My husband and I REALLY wanted to like Jasmine due to its proximity to our house. Wanted to like it so much that we tried it 3 times despite bad experiences. Well, unfortunately, 3 strikes you're out and we will be trying Jasmine no more. We have ordered rice dishes, noodle dishes, and sushi. All dishes were disappointing and below average.

The crispy duck looks like it's been sitting in a freezer for 2 weeks. Then, it was microwaved and picked through before serving it as bones and leftovers.
