Jamaican Jerk Center

I loved it. No complaints. Good solid spot. Perfectly spicy. Service was fine. Definitely adding them into my Jamaican Rotation :)My only suggestion would be go with the leg, wings or any other style chicken. This was more like a basic chicken breast cut up. Which it was still good, still flavorful & not dry... just not something I typically go with when I'm ordering jerk chicken.

When I come to Louisville I always try something new and this was the place I decided to try. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice & beans, plantains, and a beef patty. The extra jerk sauce that comes with it is delicious! The chicken was moist and delicious and the rice was good. I didn't like the plantains because they were super greasy (I did order before closing). The beef patty was delicious. I could eat 5 of them. Perfectly seasoned & a flaky crust. I will definitely going back again to try them. Also reasonable prices for what you get.

The aroma of jerk seasoning fills your senses when you pull in the parking lot. We ordered a jerk wing dinner and a jerk chicken dinner with cabbage and rice with peas. The chicken and wings were delicious, out of this world. I don't know how they cooked (smoked?) the cabbage, it is so good. The rice with peas had a nice flavor as well. I look forward to taking my sons here, I anticipate only hearing Mmmmm from all of them. Get here and pick up some jerk! You will wish you had tried it sooner.

AMAZING!! Fresh, healthy made to order Jamaican cuisine, just like on the island. You can tell the owners put love into every dish they cook. FYI since it's made to order call your order in ahead of time or plan to wait on your food being cooked.

Louisville has so many good Jamaican restaurant that don't get the recognition that they deserve. Jamaican Jerk Center has some good Jamaican food. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Leg Quarter entrée, which comes with two sides. They were out of the rice and peas, so I got the white rice and cabbage. They have this spicy sauce that they put on the side, it was good and spicy.

Best Jamaican food in louisville. Period. If you want the real deal, you gotta come here!

What's not to like when a new-to-me jerk chicken place appears when I'm hungry and not looking for anything in particular? It's bliss, that's what !!!I enjoyed a lunch special of a wrap jerk chicken sandwich with rice/peas and their special house sauce. Don't be shy, try it to see how good it is. I know I intend to return.

Hole in the wall but the food is great. Fresh smoked chicken from the grill outside. Definitely healthier than all of the nearby fast food options as well

The food is amazing their jerk chicken meal and oxtail meals are truly just the best. Everything and I mean everything they make is cooked to perfection. Pauline & Mr.Jerk are the sweetest people they know their customers by name always so polite and welcoming. Very clean restaurant it's a carry out spot but very calming atmosphere. I'd advise to call ahead and order your food so it's ready for pick up when u get there.
