Jack's

Smoky, smoky, smoky. Cold drinks, friendly staff, great prices. I'm sure to visit again, but only when I can convince myself I want to experience so much secondhand smoke that it might as well be firsthand. This establishment needs to invest in a better air system to filter the air -- or at least move it around a bit since it just hangs there.

Who's this guy? Who cares. This bar serves beer goggles if you stay til 3. Ideal location right off the slightly beaten path of a cross country road trip down 65. Am I in Kentucky? Am I in Indiana? Can I crash on your couch? I have two dogs in the car.

They won't garnish your drink, every other bar will. They have tables 2 feet apart and nobody has to wear a mask when sitting literally hitting chairs with the people behind them because they are so close, but you can't have more than 6 people at one table without the bartender Joshua screaming and cussing at you. It's trash, he's trash. ‍ 12 people can sit on a couch and people can sit on each others laps, but not more than 6 to a 10 person table.

Recently expanded and renovated it's busier than before, but still a great place to drink beer and shoot pool. One of the only late night places in New Albany and a pretty regular crowd.

Jack's is a great little pool hall. Beer is cheap and the Pool tables are in good condition.They also recently expanded so the bar has some room to stretch out in.

Jack's is a comfortable dive bar with a crowd that is welcoming to newcomers. The drinks are cheap and the beverage selection is ample. I didn't test out the pool tables but they looked well maintained and there were several available for use. I only wish that the Indiana smoking ban included bars because this place allows indoor smoking and the air gets toxic as the night goes on.

Love this bar! Went in at 1230ish on a saturday night, and it wasnt busy at all! Has a nice little lounge area, huge pool tables, great lighting, and a great bartender (clifford)!! A great bar selection and very spacious as well. I highly recommend!!

Good bar food and drinks. Lots of pool. Pretty smokey so you'll be washing your clothes the next day. Open late. Good place to have a drink after everywhere else has closed early. Be advised though ISP has grants through Summer 2023 to increase patrols for distracted and impaired driving and they watch the bars. Personally know of them watching Mac's, Jack's and the Chicken House. So, if you're drinking get a DD or take an Uber home.

Been here many of times to play pool they have some nice tables and the cues are alright you can tell people respect the place please continue to do so the food is good as well and the bartenders are awesome love the live bands they have sometimes and the no tolerance rule so it's chill all the time

Very chill! Very welcoming and warm. Great if you want a cheap beer and good environment.
