Upscale local bar located just off the Square downtown. Great burgers including a lamb beef combo called the Lamborghini as well as many other hamburger choices. Also good salads and great sides.I've been there for lunch a few times the service has been great each time.

I had finally tired this place and they didn't disappoint! The server was great and helpful and kept checking on us all evening.I was able to try the fried green tomatoes & the spicy fried pickles. The fried green tomato was good and crisp & the pimento topping was nice. The spicy fried pickles were my favorite though, crisp & flavorful. I ordered the bye-son burger medium with a side of sweet potatoes fries. The burger was delicious & made to ordered and fries were crisp & okay. The sauce was okay and side of ketchup was nice touch. I will definitely come back since the overall experience was great and the vibes were chilled. A really nice addition to the area

Stopped here after multiple recommendations from locals and the food was great! They had a small selection of craft beers though they were out of most of them but we were still able to find a good choice. The fries served with the sandwiches were good but thought the serving size was a bit small compared to other restaurants in this price range. Would eat here again for sure!

We drove off the highway to get to the restaurant after finding it on Yelp. Walked up to the door to find they closed for an employee meeting. Ended up across the street at Impellizerris. That's place was great.

Took wife to JR for a weekend lunch because of all the great reviews. I had high expectations being being a retired military Chef. I reluctantly ordered fried green tomatoes/pimento cheese appetizer with one of their burgers and side of Mac and cheese. 3-4 slices of fried tiny tomatoes, not worth $11. The burger was a burger and what can I say about the Mac and cheese. Bland, white soupy cheese sauce, no piping hot cheese topping, was not even like warm! Waiter was attentive and asked if I wanted another hot Mac and cheese? I settled for an order of hot fries. Who messes up Mac and cheese. Could have gotten someone sick with less than warm?! Maybe it was chefs off day.

Great service and good atmosphere. A bit loud but it's a big old restaurant and there's not a lot of sound batting. There's no photo of the fries because they were cool when they came out so I asked for new fries. Server was apologetic and got me new fries super fast which was awesome! They were good too! Asked for burger medium rare got it medium well. So that's why 1 star off. The fried green tomatoes app is super yummy and I recommend that over the deviled eggs. The eggs were good but not a hit out of the ballpark. If you love pimento cheese - get the fried green tomatoes. The s'mores dessert was just ok. I think it would have been great with a quality Graham cracker. These were the off-off brand lol and not good. Definitely would eat here again.

Stopped for lunch on Friday; lighter crowd as it was 2:00. Oh My Cod okay; tots good. The Texan was very saucy...a lot of flavors...good sandwich. En Fuego better...enough jalapeños to taste good without overpowering the sandwich. Newberry single good; sweet potato fries crispy with tasty maple sriracha. Good food and attentive server; well lit dining area; clean bathrooms.

To start service was very slow. It took 30 minutes to get drinks.They were out of 2 drinks that was suppose to be their specialty cocktails.Then we ordered appetizers and they took another 35 minutes When we ordered they were out of the first three things we ask for Food came out cold and was marginal

This is one of my favorite E town places. The food is very good and the drinks are great. The servers are always friendly and present. If I lived in E town they'd be sick of me soon enough, haha. And if you come for dinner go downstairs to the Cavern Club afterwards for a nightcap
