Food was the best bbq o have had in a long time!!!! Service -waitress was really genuinelly kind. Ambiance- it was not the best, if you give it a chance, you will not be disappointed.

Good delicious bar b Que food. Well established in this community & well lived & popular. Prices seem same as at other restaurants.

Want to go to a bbq restaurant that feels like home, then go here. This has been the best bbq I've found in Henderson so far. I love getting a whole chicken to go because it's amazing! Today I went with something I haven't had there (pulled pork). I've tried everything but the brisket and the desserts (not big on sweets). The brisket is next on my wish list. They have one bbq sauce and it's a really good one. It's not too spicy or too sweet, I usually ask for an extra container to take home for leftovers and they make it happen. I'm new to the area, but this is definitely one of my favorite places.

Best BBQ place in Henderson! Best ribs around town and the sides are great. The service is great and very friendly, just like family at this place. And adding the other team with there're food items is an awesome hit for this business. You definitely have all my business!!

BEST RIBS EVER!Well, Yelp! did it again. I was passing through Henderson and looked for highly rated restaurants...among them was J & B, so I decided to give it a try. And I was not disappointed by my experience. J & B is located in a small, non-descript building in a primarily residential neighborhood, but the food makes a BIG statement! The ribs are large, meaty and extremely tender with a nice smoky flavor (but not too much). They are literally as good as any ribs I've ever had anywhere. If you like ribs, you need to try these!The ribs weren't the only exceptional menu items either. The homemade potato salad also had great taste and texture. It was 1/2" chunks of redskin potatoes with a flavorful blend of sour cream, Dijon mustard and maybe a little mayo(?) - moist and tasty but still a firm rather than mushy texture - just like I like it! And the baked beans were bursting with flavor and had thin strips of BBQ pork meat in them. My only criticism of the beans would be the small serving size. Just to be clear, I'm not a guy that always defaults to baked beans and potato salad as the dudes at a BBQ place - so my compliments had to be earned...and they were!The only item that wasn't exceptional was the pork, which was good but not great. It had nice chunks and small pulled pieces of meat but was smothered in BBQ sauce. My opinion is that great BBQ meat should stand on its own, whether you want it with or without sauce. This meat may be great, but it's hard to know because the sauce dominated the serving I got. The other reason for my 5-star rating is the prices. I ordered the combo that included two meats (I chose pork and 2 ribs and my choice of 2 sides) and paid less than $9.50 including tax. I eat good BBQ at lots of places and this is a LOT cheaper than anywhere else I've been lately for this amount & quality of BBQ & sides!You won't go here for ambience but if you're looking for great BBQ and trimmings, you should give this place a try!

What is that you say? You don't like styrofoam? Well, that too darn bad! Because everything you will consume at J & B Barbeque is going to be served up on some of the best styrofoam that Kentucky has to offer.Where else can you get an entire sample of everything the joint has to offer for under $8.00? I am used to paying upwards of $15.00 for such saucy piles of meat.The potato salad is so good, you would swear it was made by a gourmet chef. The beans are not the high-point of the meal, and neither is the white bread. Too bad they cannot toast that bread, and dare I say--- even add some garlic and butter to it.Sure, they are heavy-handed with the black pepper shaker--- But, the butter basted BBQ chicken is worth coming back for over and over again. After tasting everything, the chicken is by far the best. Try anything else and don't blame me for the outcome. They will look at you like you are crazy when you ask for a side of sauce, but it is so worth it. The sauce is sweet and thick, but with a slight vinegar kick. Also, heavy on the black pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Don't drive over the bridge for this stuff. But, if you happen to be in town, you might want to give them a try.

Delicious barbecue! They have awesome redskin potato salad! Literally my favorite recipe of potato salad ever! It's sweet...very southern tasting! Delicious ribs!

I was torn between a 3 and 4 star rating. I went with 3 as the portion of bbq was not that large. I have the chicken plate my buddy had the sampler platter. I am very choosey about bbq. I have eaten bbq in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, St. Louis, Kansas City, Memphis, Owensboro and White bbq in Decatur, Al. This was good, the 1/2 chicken was small. Cole slaw was good.

What a great little unassuming barbecue place. The chicken was by far my favorite. Delicious, moist, and the skin was awesome. I also give them some props for their tangy sauce - it's a little "edgier" than anywhere else nearby. The pulled pork was pretty good and came in a fair amount of sauce - so it was bun ready. I though the ribs were really fatty, but decent and the beans were lacking. They need some tang!

This place was one of my favorite in town so yummy! I loved the ribs & potato salad or bbq chicken, homemade dessert but don't really know with new owners. I only went once since they took over and I wasn't impressed but maybe by not they are doing better!
