Impellizzeri's Pizza

I've been waiting to go to the Impellizzeri's on Bardstown Road for several years. They did not disappoint!We got a pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms & got a bigger size to have leftovers. Nope, we ate all of it. lol The store was very busy with just 1 man taking care of all of the tables. But he crushed it & did an awesome job. Can't wait to go back & get another pizza!

I ventured to this place after my coworker recommended it. As I love pizza and just a plain cheese pizza at that. I went on a Sunday around 2pm and the place was pretty bare. I sat at the bar for quick service and TV time. The bar was clean and getting a close parking spot was not hard.I ordered the garlic bread and decided to get a sausage pizza. I was hoping the sausage would be either chopped or meatball like. However I was very puzzled to see it shaved like this? I was completely turned off by the pizza, it looks like dirt worms honestly. The sausage did not taste well and I ended up throwing away the whole thing! I think the garlic bread is amazing, however the pizza not so much.

What can I say, love their Pizza. We introduced a couple of out of town friends to Impellizzeri's on Monday night. Service was great, pizza was very tasty and our friend said it all when she sated "You know this is a real pizza place, they have anchovies!" . All in all, a great night.

Better than most pizzas in the Chicago market. Good pizza as a carry out. Ordered the sampler which is a heavy had tossed bit had great flavorWould order this again

Decided on dining in at this great restaurant, after considering takeout; the best choice! Started with breadsticks, loaded with cheese and melted butter - so good. Decided on pizza with bacon and pepperoni, which was off-the-chain delicious. A great cool vibe added to a most enjoyable evening.

Our team made multiple to go orders. We everything ordered came out very quickly and we everything ordered from pizza and pasta to salads were absolutely delicious. We sat at the bar while waiting and our bar tender Megan was awesome. She was quick to get orders and made sure that everyone had everything they needed /wanted. I would highly recommend to anyone that they check this spot out.

Great atmosphere and great pizza. A wonderful neighborhood pub. Highly recommended for dine in or take out.

Soooooooo good! Y'all! My husband and I talk all the time about how good this place is! How it is t packed all the time is beyond me. We had a large group and our waiter was so good as well. The garlic breadsticks are to die for! My 2 year old almost ate 4 pieces by herself it was that good!

Love this pizza. #1 in Louisville. Ingredients: great quality. Real cheese. Price is a bit higher but for what you get... chefs kiss. Employees are friendly and the bardstown road location is set up nice. Not too loud not too quiet with TVs.

Had not been here in years, and really was surprised how much we enjoyed ourselves. We had a very friendly bartender (Anthony) who greeted us quickly. He was quick to make some recommendations, which worked out well. They have a surprisingly large bourbon menu with really great prices. So if you just want to do some bourbon sampling, you should go here and save yourself some cash. The pizza was very good and was brought to us quickly. Parking is probably challenging on a weekend, but there are some street parking spots nearby. Bathrooms were clean, nothing fancy. And if I am remembering correctly, they were gender neutral bathrooms. Ambience is pretty chill, nothing fancy. They do have some cool bourbon themed lighting around the restaurant. Would definitely recommend. We will be back.
