We adopted our son from Hyderabad so when I saw there was a restaurant that served South Indian food we had to try it! It was clean and everyone was friendly. The biryani was very good and we had some dosa and chat as well and it was all delicious. A great find!

There is a wide selection of vegetarian biryani on this menu and the tandoori paneer is outstanding. They have a weekend menu with some additional speciality items. I will definitely be back.

The hostess and waitress was very friendly. She was eager to help us and explain multiple items on the menu. The food arrived fairly quick. We didn't realize this was a chain. But, it didn't matter -- the food was incredible. We ordered. Few chef's specialty dishes which were all items we've never had before. We even tried a new biryani dish: Ulavacharu biryani. Looking forward to trying more dishes here.

I tried this place on a recommendation from an actual Indian, and it certainly delivers a selection that most restaurants do not. Don't get me wrong, I think the Indian subcontinent houses the world's tastiest culinary traditions, and I find most Indian restaurants are successes by my standards. However, a lot of these places have a generic North Indian kind of menu, and while occasionally some distinctive regional cuisine is featured, the diversity of options is rarely as great as it was here. For one thing, the opportunity to get some appetizer of a stir-fry of various spices with a choice of paneer or various vegetables (I got bits of baby corn sauteed with curry leaves) is something I've never seen before, and Yelp tells me I've reviewed 174 Indian restaurants (before this one). It was a mouthwatering dish, and I wish I could have ordered some of the other options to compare. I suppose I could have, but I only have one stomach, and I wanted to try some of their more conventional offerings as well, including a chana puri with a rubbery texture to the bread and robustly flavored chickpeas and a substantial idli sambar (which came with chutneys too). Numerous rotating weekend specials tempted me, and I wonder if I should have gotten a biryani as it seemed to be their specialty. They did not do the best job of packaging my idli and some sambar leaked out into the bag. Still, it was an intriguing experience, and I still only just cracked open the door on the variety of things one could order here.

Typically when we order Chicken Tikka Masala, it comes with plenty of rice and naan or pita. Our order tonight was a bit stingy, particularly on the rice, and their were no other typical accoutrement's.That being said, it was obvious the curry was made fresh and not from a store bought paste. It tasted great.Overall - value wasn't there for a $20 order of chicken tikka masala.

Tried this place for lunch! Ordered online then came to pick up.Parking wasn't an issue during the day on a weekday, but I'm sure it gets busy on weekends with VinBun which is a new restaurant in the same strip. There are a lot of vegetarian options on the menu! I was very impressed. We ordered the vegetarian tikka and manchurian rice, which was on the Indo-Chinese part of the menu. All so so delicious!! Really fantastic flavors. Definitely lasted me and my sister a few meals. They are also known for their biryani, so I'll have to try it next time! Staff was ready to help when I walked in. My order was already sitting there ready for me.I love that Louisville is getting more Indian restaurants! Can't wait to come back!

If an Indian friend invites you to dinner at an Indian restaurant, how can you say no :) ? It's like having your own personal guide to Indian food. This restaurant specializes in the cuisine of the Hyderabad region in India (as the name may have suggested). As I am sure most people know, Hyderabad is a city in the Mid-Southeastern part of India (I had to look it up). Typically, South-Indian food means there will be a lot of vegetarian offerings, it might be quite spicy and rice will be an important part of the menu. This restaurant has plenty of meat offerings on the menu but it really shines in producing tasty vegetarian food. My friend is vegetarian so I subdued my carnivorous urges and went along with her suggestions. We started of with the Massakali appetizer. This appeared to be a mix of battered and fried vegetables, tossed in mix of spices and herbs. Very tasty but even at medium it was a bit spicy for me. However, that didn't deter me from eating a lot of it, for which I had to slightly pay the price the next day. Next up was an order for a vegetarian Biryani. I can't remember which one exactly, it might have been the Vijayawada. In any case, our server did a nice job of explaining the differences between the different kinds of Biryani. The portion was more than enough for 2 people so plan accordingly if you are getting Biriyani. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish, spicy, fragrant with spices and herbs and very tasty. The restaurant specializes in Biryani and it definitely shows.I will say that if you are not used to eating Indian food, all these spices, herbs and heat might be a bit much for you so you might be better sticking with milder choices like chicken tikka masala, plain rice and naan bread.Service was friendly and prompt. Prices were reasonable. The food was overall excellent and I will definitely be back here to sample many of the other dishes. PS on the way out I bought a "Chikoo" shake at counter. This is a tropical fruit that I had never tried before. The shake had a very nice and distinct taste, quite unique and unlike anything I have tried in the past. Definitely worth a try!

Best chicken tikka masala ever!!!! The sauce was phenomenal. The chicken was tender. I could not stop mopping it up with the naan. So good. Heads up- this place has not had its grand opening yet. They're still hiring and getting their menu in order. Right now, they have about 67 items on the menu but it will be over 250 items soon! We enjoyed the goat biryani, but honestly I'm not sure which biryani on the menu it was. The garlic naan was amazing, perfectly cooked. The owner was around, helping us figure out what we wanted since this temporary menu does not have descriptions of the items. Dessert was delicious- like an Indian bread pudding; Warm, dense and bready, served with slivered almonds. I ate every bite! Service was not their high point. They're still figuring out how to serve tables etc. I would say the servers are typical for Indian restaurants. They don't ask you how you're doing, they don't try to get to know you, they just want to take your order abs keep your waters full. Keep an eye out for their grand opening. They may even expand! But for now, they have a limited menu which is delicious and they offer take out service. Be sure to get dessert!

When I hear the word Biryani, the first thought comes to mind is "Hyderabad Biryani". But this place disappointed me. The Biryani was cooked well but it was average, not horrible. The samosa was flavorless, below average, not horrible. The winner of my visit was the garlic Naan, which speaks volumes. Also I served in a red plastic cup, and wasn't attended after the food arrived except for the check, but they are supposedly wait to be seated table service. Okay, here is why I the one star and why I would not visit and neither should you, a three generation family of three women were dinning across from me and as they're leaving, the waiter was staring them down from their behind with a smirk. It was not enough he called another, they continued until the family left through the door, to their cars and until their cars pulled out, it was not enough, they were chuckling, laughing , and bad mouthing them with another I couldn't see. I wouldn't give bullies my business.

The food was delicious! Lots of great options for vegetarians, too. The menu is separated into vegetarian and meat sections, which is very useful. They play Bollywood clips on the TVs which are really fun to watch while you're waiting for your food (which comes out pretty quickly!)The star of the show was the little robot server who brought out the food! It has a little song it plays as it comes out and its voice has an Indian accent, which I thought was a nice touch. We also had a human server who took our order, refilled our drinks, and checked in on us, so the robot was really just a fun way to bring out our food.
