No menu, you have no idea what your going to get He makes his own sauces but the food, ribs, chicken, brisket are so flavorful you don't need to add any sauce. Where was the last restaurant you went to that everyone when they leave gives him a hand shake or a hugg. Wrong phone number. It is 551-486-5522

Not your average BBQ place and when you pull up you may wonder if you are in the right place but take a chance and walk in. Great conversation and even better food. No menu but trust The chef and enjoy the spread.

In from out of town and stopped by at 8pm on Saturday night. Location was completely closed with no notation on the website.

This is not your typical BBQ joint, General Ed just sent his dishes one at a time for so many varieties until you virtually waiting for the dessert! The BBQ meat is so tender and delicious you don't really need any sauce unless you need a kick from the house hot sauce! This is really a hidden treasure in the Madison area. Glad to have dinner there after visiting the Cliffty falls state park.

A colorful local place with excellent smoked meats and tasty sides. The menu appears to change every day on the whim of the chef. His sauces where homemade and his hot sauce was actually hot! We very much enjoyed our visit to this unpretentious roadside smokehouse. Worked well for takeout.

Outstanding meal! Don't let the decor bother you, it is part of the character of the place. I took the advice of another Yelp review and I went with Eddie's' recommendation. Had fresh smoked pork. Great meal, one of the best. Just remember, you don't eat ambiance!

Wasn't open as per posted hours.Looked really rough and grubby from outside.Couldn't see inside very well but it didn't entice me enough to try to go back and see if they might be open when they are supposed to be.Be curious to see how clean the kitchen area is.It's one of those places that might surprise you as very good, or very scary!

We had a wonderful time with Eddie tonight. Fantastic food and great conversations. No menu, he just brings you food.

Outside - meh, inside- pure magic going on. Eddie is a BBQ genius, his sauces and food is to die for. Just say " Eddie, feed me! " and you will be amazed at the feast. Went in with a group of six women and Eddie and John treated us like celebrities. Prices are cheap for the wonderful food. Worth the 2 hour drive from Indianapolis!

Fantastic BBQ!!! Stopped in for lunch, had pulled pork & greens - pork was very smoky and tender. Chef Eddie makes his own sauces & they are available for sale. I bought a few bottles along with a rack of ribs to take home with me. The ribs are outstanding! You can not duplicate this flavor at home! Madison is a beautiful town on the Ohio River - take a road trip & have a great meal at Hoboken Eddie's. It is a unique experience!
