Hive

We have been visiting Hive at 10th and the Bypass since their opening. One World has a great tradition of good food at Lennie's and the we have been so happy to have this option on the East side.Lots of parkingPies so many delicious piesIndoor/outdoor seatingSome fun menu offerings that make it a little more distinctLove the velvet soup, roast chicken, the bahn mi (so delish), and the Hive out of course. The grab and go pickup is wonderful. I love sending in an order and having my husband just run in on his way home and it is ready to go on the shelf with no waiting in line.

I've been to Hive a few times and it's a solid option for breakfast and lunch. Hive is a stand to order type of place/counter-service, immediately upon entry.The chicken pot pie was a bit too sweet for my liking. Baked goods are pretty good. Their matcha (notoriously bitter) was surprisingly done well. Service is usually timely. We came at an intense Sunday brunch rush hour and they were good about letting us know that we were close to their max capacity so that we were more prepared for ordering. They have comfortable seating both indoor and outdoor.

We stopped into the Hive looking for something quick and not fried. You order at counter get a number, and they bring it out to you. I enjoyed the chill vibe. I grabbed a Cortado coffee to go, and it was great! The Banh Mi was good. Not authentic, but had good flavor. I liked how it was wrapped in the parchment for cleaner eating. I could have used more veggies in it. The chicken pot pie was very flaky and good. Soup and rice and beans were comforting. We also got a smash burger that was ok, it was good, soft bread, but not our favorite.

This was my first time trying Hive. I've heard so many good things about the tater tots so I had to try them. This is the type of place where you order at the front, sit down, and then they bring your food to you when it's ready. I liked how spacious it was with lots of natural light and outdoor seating for when it's nice out. We ordered the smash burgers and these were decent burgers. I expected a little more flavor but it's okay. The bun is really soft but the meat and toppings slip out really easily. The tater tots were honestly life changing--a 5/5! I loved the sauce they came with. I would definitely come again to try other items on their menu, especially the brownie pie!

Delicious burger, crispy fries and great atmosphere. Met some friends for lunch and had the Frisco burger with fries. The sourdough bread was crispy and perfectly sour. The beef was flat with crispy edges. Loved the thousand island dressing. The shoestring fries were thin,crispy and perfectly seasoned. Yum!

Loved the outdoor seating and the coffee was quite good. We thought the food was good, not out of the world amazing, but good. We tried a variety of dishes, a breakfast sammie (loved the challah), two different burgers and avocado toast. I liked that we could serve ourselves coffee and soda. The hot honey and jams were delicious. Definitely a solid choice if you are looking for a quick brunch or lunch a bit away from campus.

Food is always delicious and reasonable in price! The service is quick and things stay clean. Perfect afternoon lunch or weekend brunch spot

This has become our go to brunch spot when we're in Bloomington. Great options for breakfast or lunch. Reasonable prices and plenty of space as well. A very nice little place.

Hadn't been to Hive in a while. Decided to take advantage of their 50% off coffee drinks deal since they just got an espresso machine. Plus I wanted a late lunch/early dinner. The person working the register and taking orders seemed a bit confused. I ordered a double smash burger (the first time trying that item) and tots. My wife ordered the quarter chicken with a garden salad. It took a surprisingly long time for our food to arrive, especially considering that there were very few customers. However, the food was good. I enjoyed the burger and you cannot go wrong with deep-fried tater tots. We then went back up front and ordered a couple of coffee drinks (mocha and cappuccino) and a couple of pieces of pie. The person who made the coffee drinks did a great job, they were delicious. (and half price!) The pie was good, the crust was especially well done. We had been bypassing Hive due to spotty customer service on previous visits, and the portion sizes that seemed to be shrinking. However, it was solid on this visit and we look forward to adding it back to our regular dining rotation.

This is to let you all know that the roast chicken is SOOO darn good. I had the white meat quarter plate, sonny had the dark meat quarter plate. It came with a very rustic big cube stuffing that was heavily seasoned (In a good way) and a white gravy with chicken chunks in it. The meat is VERY well seasoned, very juicy and just a joy to eat. I had tots as a side and son had the dressed greens. Greens had a great dressing and tots were hot and well cooked. I plan on getting this again!! Thank you Hive!
