Tucked into a street with houses, a restaurant/bar and barber shop is Hinterhof. Immediately you want to order and enjoy the space, especially the patio. The options offer unique combinations compared to other spots, including the locals and it makes me want to run back to try more of the menu. Having the privilege to meet the owner and hear her speak of how this place came to be, I can confirm a lot of thought is put into crafting a special coffee.We left with a bag of coffee. The smell coming from the bag is divine and we can't wait to brew it. Friendly service and clean space. Street parking and it may be best to drive a bit further from the shop to find a spot and walk the sidewalk.

Love love LOVE this little hidden gem!!They have good coffee with fun specials and an absolutely beautiful backyard area. The outdoor space feels so serene and peaceful. The perfect spot for catching up with friends or getting some work done.This spot is a little hidden, but stick to the left side of the building and you'll find the entrance!Baristas are nice and helpful, always a friendly face.

This place has been on my list for a long time. I was looking forward to trying it. The hours posted online are not the same hours posted on the door. I pulled up at 7:15am (sign said they opened at 7am) on Monday. They were not open at all. I'm really disappointed. I did not even know the hours posted online said they aren't open Mon-Tues but the sign out front says they are open.

"This is not the coffee shop you are looking for . . . " said partly in jest because I want to keep it all to myself--but I also want to keep it open. Such a sweet hideaway shop behind the barber. Indoor and outdoor seating; natural light in a historic building. The courtyard is nicely kept. Coffee may be in mugs!! Hurrah. Barista Stevie was very chill while being attentive and helpful. I watched her grate fresh orange zest for one of their Autumn drinks. The drinks offered enhance the coffee. Though they can probably pack the drinks with sugar, that is not how they are designed. Definitely will return.

This business is only 4 months old but it has good coffee and friendly service. Best of all there's a lovely outside patio for sipping coffee especially on a beautiful fall day. I was told it was some time before they got the building in tiptop shape. That being said it's looks very sleek and modern with a great ambiance. Do note that it is street parking only but there were a number of spots on East Oak Street and the side streets. Let's all support our local businesses.

This is a hidden gem. It is a charming shop with a sweet beautiful patio garden complete with flowers and bird song.I ordered the Peruvian pour over which was exquisite. I am mostly a dark roast girl, but this was really a wonderful experience with clear chocolate notes. Usually I add sweetener to coffee, but this coffee was so excellent it did not need sweetener for me. The service was helpful and cheerful. The restroom was clean and had character. I highly recommend this place!!!

Coffee is outstanding. Service is impeccable. Beautiful interior and wonderful courtyard. Best of all, the shop is dog friendly.
