Great food. Great atmosphere. Superb service. Go see Adam at the Hilltop. Excellent host who takes care of his guests. The fried fish was excellent. Fried chicken is always great.

If you like brain sandwich's then Hill top is the place to go! They also have great plate dinners and salads as well! Nice west side restaurant to eat ant and drink some nice cold beer!!

I don't even know where to start. 45 minute wait for the wrong food or not all of it. Potato wasn't even hot, Luke warm. Excuse after excuse. It's a cute place, but I will think long and hard before returning. I was so upset with all of it, I lost my appetite. Sad to see such a long standing family place fail.

VERY VERY Lacking in customer service they could give 2 shits about you. Don't bother placing a Togo order you will be placed on hold immediately and never talked to again. You will just have to hang up.

Get new management, cooks, perhaps owners. This is worst food I've had in a while. Friend chicken was burnt, dry and small. (45 minute wait) German fried potato's were not edible, a pile of yellow, soggy, greasy mush. I would call the white gravy...salted cornstarch sauce. Really sad, I hope someone saves it.

If you are in a hurry, this is not the place especially at lunchtime. Sat down and just about left after waiting more than 7 minutes before our waitress appeared from the back. Dinning room had a funky sewer smell. The place is dusty and needs some attention. Food arrived cold and tasteless. Saw another worker just inside the kitchen doors snacking on a box from DQ. This place has really went downhill. No pun intended.

We went there today for lunch, first in time several years. I had the German bologna and a bowl of Burgoo. First the bologna was fried way to much nearing the burnt crusty state. The Burgoo tasted like it had been sitting on the stove way to long, not quite brunt but very close. My wife's chicken lunch special was anything but special, it was fired a little long. The steamed vegetable medley looked like they took a frozen Birdeyes pack and tried to warm them in a microwave. some were still cold. No seasoning at all. The service was very good. The food quality was such that we will not go back.

Normally love this place. But tried the fiddlers today. Very disappointed. Was charged $18 for 2 very small pieces and 2 sides. Then the fish was not good. Tastes like they used the same oil as they fry chicken. Also, the batter was very bland. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean. But skip the fiddlers, stay with the chicken.

if you like burn food have to use a lot of salt and other items to cover the burn this is your place to go to!

Chicken livers were burnt and cooked in old grease. Even my cats would not eat them.
