Hey Mr. DJ Entertainment Services

The most important thing to my husband was good food. We had already hired hey mr DJ for DJ services and thought we would schedule a tasting. Presentation was beautiful and the food was delish. We were told the catering would include everything (plates, forks, cups etc) and they would decorate the buffets to match our theme. We were torn because I really liked lady fingers, however chose to go with hey Mr Dj. This unfortunately was a mistake. The baked potatoes were not edible, they were completely raw. We requested green beans, which were not served until after over 1/2 my guests had gotten their plates. My husband and I were super surprised to see they decorated their buffets lines using our decorative table cloths, and did not ask first. I assume they found themat the venue and helped themselves. We had to ask for butter for the potato bar as it was not out. Although it was not needed because the potatoes were impossible to eat. The chicken at the tasting had a nice seasoning on them, however the chicken served at my wedding was plain chicken breasts with no seasoning floating in water (and dried out). Cake cutting I was originally told was included ended up being a charge and I was told I had to purchase plates, napkins, forks etc. ‍. I wish we had stuck to only the DJ services. The DJ was super nice and interactive. I did reach out to Glen Davis to tell him about our experience before posting this and he seemed to offer several excuses. He admitted having a "new chef" but felt the food should have been the same as they follow the same recipes. I was very disappointed and to be honest embarrassed . Many and I mean many of my guests raved about the DJ, cake, and decorations but openly admitted the food was not good. Again shall I say embarrassed . He offered a free bounce house for my kiddos this summer, but the truth is, I felt like he really didn't care. He said he was told the potatoes were undercooked from the DJ but overall food was good. Well I am the paying customer, and apparently what I feel is unimportant. Even though the DJ was great, knowing what I know now about the lack of care from Glen, I will never use their services again. Not only myself but all family and friends. Very sad because we had such high hopes and bragged about how good the night was going to be including the food. This should have been the case considering the price we paid. With all this said, I would highly recommended lady fingers which is what I should have stuck with. Hey Mr Dj was a let down for sure.

I've used Mr Dj every time I've gotten married. The music was great every time, wish I could say the same for my special ladies ._.

Future brides.. Do not use "Hey Mr DJ" for anything! The owner, Glenn Davis, is a joke and will screw you over however he can. My husband and I just left court with him. We rented 155 chair covers from him for our reception, he said we ruined 115. There's no way that's possible what so ever. We didn't even have but maybe 80-90 people at our reception and were all adults. People came, sat and ate then either left or went to dance floor. Nothing got out of hand.. We picked up chair covers and tablecloths the day before the wedding and went to where our wedding was going to be and set everything up ourselves, almost every single tablecloth and chair cover had stains on them but we couldn't do anything about it since our wedding was the next day. We had paid for everything in cash months before wedding, he never once mentioned needing a credit card on file until the day before wedding when we picked up everything, my husband gave him a prepaid card with only $63 on it, a few days after wedding he sent my husband a receipt stating he took $63 from him and we owed him more cause we ruined 103 chair covers. A few days later he says 110 then at court said 115. He kept changing the amount. Here's my post I wrote on my fb page for my friends... Sooo.. To update everyone at once, we lost. The judge looked at the contract from the DJ company owner, stating that if anything was ruined we would pay for it, Rob and I both signed this a long time ago, like you do with every business.. The judge only wanted to see that and then it was pretty much over... He, DJ owner, did not have to prove that those chair covers were ours from our wedding, he did not have to show her all the chair covers or even show that he had 115 with him, he didn't have to prove anything to her, nothing! Me, Rob or our lawyer got to talk much at all. She did not want to look at our pictures, read our statements from people that put on and took off our chair covers, nothing. We got screwed big time. The DJ owner changed his number from 103, to 110, to 115 chair covers ruined and that didn't matter either. He had no proof at all those were ours, they could've been someone else's from a wedding before. Either way, we lost. It wasn't fair. But i guess that's life. DO NOT USE "HEY MR DJ" it's a fucking joke!

Hey Mr. DJ is the worst wedding service ever!!! They played the wrong songs, the video of the bride walking down the aisle was blurry and shaky, and we still don't have all the footage and pictures from our wedding. Our wedding was in september and its nearly new years!!! They presented themselves as a highly professional service, but what we paid for is NOT what we got!!! A 3 year old with a camera phone could have done a better job. DO NOT BUY!!!

Not impressed at all...... Glen and his team did a wedding for us and the whole thing was an unorganized mess. The three women he brought out were so unprofessional in both their dress and their attitudes. Ask them any question and you will be responded bye an eye roll, a grunt, and eventually the question not being answered. The photo booth was basically uselessThe sound setup he had for the ceremony would cut out and when it was finally working, someone would mess with it again and it would cut out again. I had so many complaints from our guests about this matter that I started apologizing more then I was greeting my family and friends.Song choice was so slow and more for a funeral then a wedding. It wasn't until after the DJ went out on the phone ( which he did ALOT) and mike the bartender took over that the party finally started picking up..... three hours into the dancing.....However I do have to give very high praise for mike the bartender and rick the assistant. Both were great to be around and were easily the highlight of the service. Honestly would never use this service again but would not hesitate to invite mike to be a bartender and to have rick just to help around and be the social mastermind that he was.

Haven't used them. But refuse to. I get calls non stop even after I told them I wasn't interested. I have even blocked the number and now I get calls from another. I don't even remember signing up with them. They seem pushy with the non stop calls. Stop calling me!!!!

To put it lightly, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED. WHAT WE DID: 1. We called, emailed and texted many times (since they were slow to respond or make a decision) to arrange for our wedding to be videoed. 2. We drove clear out to Louisville from Indiana and out to his place to arrange for payment. 3. We sent him detailed programs and copies of the events to record, their timings, locations, etc and even a few pictures. 4. We were AHEAD of schedule so that they could record more, or AT LEAST the amount that they agreed to! WHAT MR. DJ! DID: 1. They DIDN'T RECORD our vows, the first kiss, the announcement of husband and wife, the groomsmen entrance, the first dance, the toasts, the Armenian Dance, the groom and groomsmen special song/dance, the newlywed game, etc. Pretty much EVERYTHING IMPORTANT they somehow failed to record!!2. INSTEAD, they went around asking people for comments, something we never asked for and hardly cared about. 3. The video footage they did get was just pieces of the ceremony and reception. Nothing was recorded in full. 4. The video was shaking in many places, moving around, spinning around, turning sideways and upside down almost as if a child was doing the recording and didn't know which side was up. 5. The CDs were all unorganized with bits and pieces of ceremony and reception on both discs. 6. None of it is edited. 7. They wanted to leave early, and after we agreed to what they would stay to record, the lady asked to leave early again at the reception. 8. After agreeing both times for how long she would stay, she still left early!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HEY MR. DJ. (They have unfortunately shown a lack of integrity as well in our dealings with them outside the wedding - saying one thing and doing another)

I want to start off by saying that I am extremely unhappy with the way my wedding was handled. I was told originally that I may not have you (Glenn) as the DJ at my wedding, but it would be someone with the same attitude and enthusiasm. I was also told that the person I got would be "up to speed" with the details of the wedding/reception. Boy, was I misinformed. I filled out all the info sheets and timeline for the wedding/reception for a reason. Instead DJ Nigel was constantly coming up to me, while getting ready & during the reception, to find out the details. My mom, Ann (a repeat customer) was the contact, NOT ME! During the ceremony there was a microphone and speaker outside. Thank goodness my photographers knew what to do because they were the ones that had to set up the wireless mic, or we would have had to walk over wires during the ceremony. At the reception there was no uplighting as promised (agreed on 8 uplights), just a disco ball light. While the wedding party was taking pictures, there was no "get to know the guest game" to keep the guests entertained while they waited. When it came time to eat, it was like a free for all! There was no organized dinner dismissal. He never announced anything about the toasts, or that we were about to cut the cake. No one knew about when we had our 1st dance, or that the father/ daughter, mother/son dances were going on. Overall DJ Nigel was extremely rude and unprofessional!! He even told the guests that requested he play a song that he was going to play what he wanted. The DJ is such a crucial part to a wedding and I CANNOT believe that the entire reception turned out like crap because I didn't get what I was promised. I used Hey Mr. DJ because my mom had previously used you for a work function and was extremely satisfied. I will say that I was far from satisfied. I would not recommend your company to anyone after the way my wedding was handled. Ruined my wedding reception!!!

Hey Mr Dj ENT. SERVICES!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!! THEY did a bad job Djing my wedding we also had them do the catering which later i found out he has his mother WAS doing all the cooking at his home which is not a location to be cooking food for 200 people it is un sanitary and is very dirty.She was also rude and was not wanting me to see the kitchen which later his office manager let me see and also said he new it was dirty but said it would be cleaned before my wedding.I also later found out he is not LICENCES to be doing this out of his home. this explains why lots of my guest got sick the next day after my wedding.I also found out when meeting him at his house to find out from his office manager Ian that he likes to keep the left over food from wedding for later events that tells you how CHEAP this guy really is he like to buy you cheap food from KROGERS then charge you an arm and a leg then freeze it for a later event! he is very un organized and is a good lier, very smooth talker ,makes you believe he care about your special day but all he wants is to charge you for all this little stuff ripping you off right under your nose. HE IS A FRAUD AND A SCAM ARTISIT DO NOT GET THEM FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY U WILL REGRET IT!!! his NAME IS GLEN DAVIS (Mr. SHADY!!!)
