I've been to my fair share of Chinese buffets through the years, and this was one of the worst. The restaurant is dated and the options on the buffet were super limited. There was nothing there that stood out as really good. The chicken was awful on all dishes I tried. The hour and sour soup tasted like straight vinegar. I guess the good news is I didn't get sick from it, but won't be headed back anytime soon.

Decent American Chinese buffet, close to Ark Encounter. Especially loved their bourbon chicken (like elevated teriyaki chicken), BBQ chicken skewers (like Chinese BBQ pork seasoning), general tso chicken (more spicy than usual), Chinese donuts, and their ice cream (4 flavors including butter pecan)! Their broccoli beef is a little spicy.

We were just passing through and wanted lunch, but not typical fast food. We decided to try their buffet. There was a good variety on the buffet. However, what we tried wasn't much to our liking. I have a theory that people get used to a certain Chinese restaurant, and they'll never be totally satisfied with food from others. This just didn't taste like the flavors I've grown to crave at my hometown Chinese restaurant. The place was clean enough but certainly not fancy. In an effort to be vigilant about removing dirty plates from the table and providing refills, the waitress hovered by our table apart the entire meal, which made me sort of self-conscious. Overall, we weren't hungry anymore, and it wasn't gross, but we won't go back.

My favorite place to go live around the area and the staff is very nice they ask me how I am every time I go would recommend the food in my opinion is amazing for the price. I love the chairs,music,and paintings. They even have ice cream they got it all I would Recommend if your going to go to the ark.

We're from San Francisco Bay Area (home to lots of Chinese and Asian restaurants) and were delighted with Happy Dragon. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty! The self-serve desserts ranged from fruit and cookies to several flavors of ice cream. The constant flow of locals coming for take-out confirmed that they're valued by the community. We didn't see any chopsticks, which we would have used. HIGHLY recommend a visit!

After visiting the Ark encounter, we were looking for a place place for dinner. Happy Dragon is less than 10 minutes from the ark. The Chinese buffet choices were excellent. The catfish was very tender as were the chicken and meat dishes. A favorite was the Stir-fried green beans - SO delicious! There are selections of fruits and desserts, including self-serve ice cream! I also enjoyed the hot and sour soup, wonton soup, noodles and fried rice. Happy Dragon is a small restaurant with basic decor. The Servers and hostess are welcoming, and provide good service. All of this for under $15 per person! I recommend Happy Dragon and if I'm in the area in the future, I would definitely visit again.

We were looking for a place to eat for the night and we found Happy Dragon on our recommendations. One of us doubted this place, so we came and found that it had great service and amazing food. It is a very clean and nice restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Better than expected! We ordered take out, had the Combination Lo Mein, hot and sour soup and crab Rangoons. Every thing was hot and delicious and it was ready fast.
