Hana Sushi and Ramen

We visited for an impromptu date night while in Shelbyville. The interior was clean and spacious and the service was good. We ordered some spring rolls for an appetizer, a dinner bento box, and the miso ramen. Everything was all just fine. My ramen didn't have a whole lot of flavor, so I'd probably go with the spicy miso ramen next time. The spring rolls were hot and crisp. The bento box was solid and a good value and the one thing that really stood out was the terriyaki salmon in the box. We definitely have other ramen go-tos, but it was nice to try something new.

There aren't many great restaurants in Shelbyville, but Hana Sushi and Ramen is always great and one of my favorites. I've tried quite a few dishes there, and they have all been delicious. When we go, we like to start out with the crab rangoons and shumai. Their rangoons are some of the best I've had. They have crab in them and have a sweet taste. You can't go wrong with shumai either. It's always good. Their hibachi bento boxes and teriyaki dishes are a great choice if you don't like sushi. The Lo Mein, fried rice, and ramen are excellent choices as well. As far as sushi goes, I'm kind of picky. I like to stick to the rolls that are not raw. The ones that I've had at Hana have been amazing. My personal favorites are the angry bird roll, caterpillar roll, and the Hana roll. They have a variety of different choices, even if you're not a sushi eater. I always have a pleasant experience at Hana Sushi and Ramen. The staff is excellent and very attentive. The restaurant is also very clean. I definitely suggest giving this restaurant a try if you haven't already.

The food and service is always great! Their sushi is amazing and highly recommended with so many options to choose from. The atmosphere is quiet and serene!

I had a great experience dining at this new restaurant. Shelbyville really needed a hibachi, sushi and ramen cuisine offering, and this hits the spot! The food was really good, so good that I forgot to take photos. Excellent customer service

This is a brand new venture in a building that has been many things.It's my opinion this business is a "keeper". First, the renovation to the inside is amazing. It looks very modern and authentic in Asian decor.We tried take out for our first attempt but will definitely be dining indoors in the future. Our meals were delivered quickly and still very hot when we got home. We got a seafood and vegetable ramen meal. The portion is large and the ingredients are fresh. The menu hosts mainly sushi selections and we noticed how fresh the sushi bar looked. This will become our go to location for sushi in Shelbyville. Fried rice, hibachi and bento box offerings are also available.Give Hana a try and I'm certain you will return.

This was a very delightful and tasty experience! This place should've been packed but the queit intimate setting was perfect. Our service was excellent. The quality of the sushi is outstanding. My husband and I are extremely picky about sushi and this blew so many places we've been to out of the water. The rolls are generous and taste super fresh. The soup bowls are perfect in size. The udon was tender and had a ton of ingredients. I have a feeling that this will become our stop whenever we're in the area to play at the casino.

This restaurant is closed on Tuesday. Just an FYI for those passing through. Reviews are intriguing. Will try again another time. Have to post stars to post comment.

What a gem! As soon as you step through the doors and see the atmosphere and decor, you know you picked the right spot. Menus are well-designed and contain helpful information/photos. Staff is friendly and attentive. They have everything you could want, and I must say that the vegetarian options are extensive, phenomenal, and clearly identified on the menu. Thank you! The Garden Roll (pictured) is absolutely the best vegetarian sushi roll I've ever had! Try it!

Poke bowl and tempura vegetables were very good. Tempura chicken was good, it was better after we requested sweet chili sauce to perk it up. Service was fast. The restaurant was not very busy for a Sunday evening, so I can say it was very quiet since at one point our table was the only one there.

Great food and the service is very friendly and fast. I usually get ramen and sushi but I've heard the Chinese food is good too.
