Hagen's Club House Restaurant

Nice restaurant with great views of the golf course. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our food was yummy and prices were good. They need a better picture of the food on the opening page.

Food was good and the service was great, but the prices are ridiculous. Ambiance would be good, too, if we didn't have to constantly shoo flys away from my meal. I get it. It's Summer and lots of people going in and out. I really didn't look at the prices before I ordered. This is a golf course club house restaurant. Lots of golfers and that's the vibe. Ambiance is nice, but nothing too fancy. $160 (w/tip) is way more than a couple should spend for a Friday date night. One appetizer, one mixed drink each, one entree each and no dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our food at Hagen's last week while in French Lick. We had a dinner and lunch there during our short stay. The chicken wrap (fried) was delicious. I recommended it so much that my husband got it for his meal on our 2nd outing. We also tried the Spicy Shrimp Fra Davalo and the PBJ Burger. The PBJ Burger was good - but extremely messy that I hate part of it with a knife and fork. My husband tried the Green Jacket drink - but didn't care for it much. I had the French Lick Red - which was a wonderfully chilled sweet red wine (we stopped at the winery later and bought a few bottles!).We loved sitting outside on the patio deck overlooking the 18th hole and had great wait staff. I would recommend this restaurant for either lunch or dinner.

Typical clubhouse experience. TVs at every angle and wide open hosting space. You have to walk through the golf pro shop to access. The outdoor Jews of the course are wonderful on a pretty evening. We brought a large group (10+) and felt pretty well cared for by the servers. The restaurant was empty though. I was surprised by the large variety on the menu. It's most of a sandwich and drinks menu than fine dining. Our party had burgers, quesadillas, and even ribs. All in all the food was fine, among the better places locally, but pretty average outside to the local scene. If we go back to the area, will definitely dine here again.

Expensive. Food and drink was good but nothing special. Service was decent, and location good. Ambiance was very good. Nice place to chill and have a bite to eat and drink while golfing

Come in here dear boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go far. have a drink! Or enjoy some food. Get some snacks on the turn. Or heck enjoy a cigar on the porch with a drink and a view. This is just what we needed after a busy morning. The golf course looked great, will have to play next time in town, but the bar was nice and the people were chill. Didn't do much but chill on the porch and enjoy a cigar and drink. They have a pretty good selection of both.

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere. Our server (Emma) was Fantastic!! She was very attentive and Friendly!!! The restaurant is situated on a beautiful golf course. Lovely views out of every window. The food was also absolutely incredible. We had a few drinks as well. The Bloody Mary was 10/10. My husband got an IPA Kona in a can and it was good. We both got a Strawberry Zipper (neither of us liked this drink) tasted like watered down sprite with a splash of strawberry flavoring. We got the Fried Mozzarella to share and is was really good. Large Mozzarella patties atop a bed of warm Marinara, solid 8/10. My husband got the Chicken wrap (fried and tossed in Buffalo) with a side of fries, solid 10/10. I ordered the Salmon BST with a side of green beans, if I could give this a 20/10 I would. Seriously, one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Overall, we 1000% recommend this restaurant. Come for the views and incredible dining.

When you want to relax and watch others swing among the swallows, the porch at Hagen's clubhouse is a nice spot to go. We didn't stop here to eat, but my husband came here early in the morning to play around of golf. We decided to come back in the afternoon to have a beverage in the heat of the day. There's an there's a nice bar and restaurant inside, but the patio outside for me is where it was at.... As we sat under the fans and enjoyed our beverages, the swallow birds flew in and around the patio and just outside chasing each other and the bugs. You can sit here and look out onto much of the course as it's in an elevated spot.For those of you that enjoy a cigar, you can purchase one inside the golf shop which is also located on the premise.. There's a wide variety of clothing and golfing items as well as a few cigars to choose from.The bar is fully loaded and can provide you with whatever your libation preference is. It's fairly pricey here which I guess is to be expected since it's a golf course. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it's nothing spectacular as some places I've seen, but it's still very nice and if you're in this area and you enjoy this kind of thing, it's worth checking out.

My family and I ate here on our last afternoon in French Lick. Located on a beautiful golf course, we wanted to see for ourself, even though none of us have a slight interest in golf, haha.They had a golf shop to go through before you entered the restaurant. We were seated immediately and the service was great. The waiter even accommodated my cold blooded mother and switched the fan off by standing on a chair.The menu was pretty limited with not a ton of options but a nice range of sandwiches, salads, and soups at a very reasonable priceA few of us ordered the soup of the day which was some kind of bisque. It was served luke warm so it wasn't the best but it would have been delicious if it was hot. The potential was there. I ordered a bbq pulled pork sandwich that was excellent.It was a rainy afternoon so we didn't get to take in the nice golf course view but it was a nice lunch nonetheless.

My brother dad and I were on a short golf trip in French lick and decided to check out this local restaurant.We were happily greeted by our waitress and taken care of very nicely! She was upbeat and attentive throughout the evening and had great suggestions for food choices.I got the salmon sandwich, my brother got the pulled pork, and my dad got the burger. All three of us agreed that this was a great dinner. The aoli on the salmon was top notch and we all got the cheddar bacon fries on the side!I would highly recommend this as the place to go in French lick and the surrounding area!
