Authentic Mexican restaurant. I usually get the grilled chicken taco, or beef taco, but I tried the grilled chicken quesadilla. It was delicious! Not greasy and just the right amount of cheese. The service is fast, the food came out quickly and hot. Cute little restaurant, great for groups or couples. The staff is friendly. Family owned and operated.

Nice, friendly wait staff. Good food with spices. It's much better than a competitor.

We were prepared for a five star experience but they fell a bit short. My daughter ordered the cheese quesadilla and it tasted off...like fake cheese. She wouldn't eat it and she's a quesadilla fanatic. My friend and I split the steak fajitas and they were good but the amount of meat was lacking and the beans were kinda crusty. The margaritas are good but not great. Overall, I wouldn't come back.

Don't judge based on curb appeal. The outside isn't very inviting, but once you walk in it is colorful, festive and clean. The service was fast and friendly. And the food was really good. Some of the most flavorful Mexican food I've had.

What a great find! We enjoyed a delicious and inexpensive meal here while on a getaway to French Lick (the restaurant is a about a 15-minute drive). The salsa was tasty, and the chips crisp. My husband had one of the house specialities with chorizo and pineapple, and I had a combo burrito and enchilada plate. We both enjoyed our dinners! The service was attentive and friendly, and we were well-spaced from other diners; the space is well-designed for this. One thing that made us uncomfortable. No one was wearing masks. Not the servers and not other people in the restaurant when entering and leaving. That needs to be a minimum during this time.

Hacienda El Asadero is a Mexican restaurant at the heart of Paoli. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It is simple and inviting. It has colorful artwork and pictures and inviting staff. The chairs and the tables are colorful and clean. The people are very friendly here. They have an extensive menu that includes many choices and is happy to make to order with additional changes I had to the burrito. My wife and I visited three other Mexican restaurants in French lick before landing here; all were terrible, and we almost gave up till I entered this location. Zack was so helpful and made me feel welcomed. He showed me the menu and asked questions while offering to seat us. He took the time to make us feel they wanted us here. The dishes were substantial portions and VERY delicious. I also liked the dishes because there was not so much food that you had to stuff yourself and feel bad, but an excellent portion to feel satisfied. Their menu prices are very affordable and worth every penny. I had a good-sized burrito with Mexican rice and beans. My wife had the steak fajitas and said they were maybe the best seasoned she has had in 47 years. I highly recommend this restaurant, not just for the excellent food but also for the excellent personnel, and the prices.

The food was 4 star . The staff were not wearing masks!! Yikes ! The service was good up until we got the food but we waited quite awhile for the check. The staff not wearing masks was the biggest concern. The patrons coming into the restaurant were not either !
