Gyro House

A little out of the way (by Owensboro standards where all the restaurants are clumped together on the same end of town), but definitely worth the drive! Don't let its modest appearance and dining style throw you off, the food is delicious! My husband and I both ordered the lamb gyro sandwich combo. He chose fries, and I got the yellow rice. The fries were cooked when ordered, and were fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. The lamb was delicious, and all the vegetable toppings were crisp and fresh. The pita bread was perfectly cooked, and so good and tender. It was hard to eat as a sandwich because it was overfilled with goodness

Food was great and fast delivery! I got the Gyro salad and it was amazing! Would eat from there again for sure

My husband has been so many times this was my first visit and I already can't wait to go back! I had the chicken and lamb combo! It is topped with the most delicious sauce! It was amazing! And my picky kids loved the nuggets and fries and the other got chicken wings! We fell in love! You can't go wrong something for everyone! The staff is so friendly! Get it Togo or eat there! You will not be disappointed!

Sooooo good. I grew up in Germany and this is the closest thing to döner kebap I have tasted in the USA. Super nice owners with great customer service and clean environment! We will be back! (Side note: they have DoorDash too! )

Excellent service, very attentive. Food was good. Only thing that disappointed was the platter salad and feta was small and lacking feta. I would come back.

The food is excellent and the service even better. We are always greeted with a smile and go home with our belly's full! We eat at Gyro House a few times a month. The Gyro Platter and the Chicken Sharwma are my favorites.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Patiently Waited for about 20min, he made my food sit my food box by the register & without cashing me out, & continued on to the next customer so I left while he tried to chase me out the door

Lamb gyro was cold,dry & tasteless like it was yesterday's leftovers. The sauce was runny and not very tasty either. Wouldn't go back or recommend. Tried it first time when first opened and was ok-not this time!

Their business seems a little slow but their food was amazing. Stopped in to see what they were about and they gave us free samples. If you haven't already gave them a try it's highly recommended.
