This place is an Irvington staple. The food is good and consistent. I don't really think you can say the place has an ambiance but it's good hometown food.

Great Food. I was honestly surprised. I've always wanted to try this place but have been scared bc it looks kinda run down and the previous reviews aren't great. But I thought I'd give it a try and wow the food was great. I got the roast with brown gravy. Yum! The place wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't like dirty either. Just the waiter wasn't cleaning it as fast as she should be. Service was decent.

Really disappointed in this place. The only thing worse than the service was the food. Cook never heard of basted eggs? So settled for over easy came out yoke on one side of the plate egg white in the other.Restaurant supply country gravy mix I remixed with too much water. First cup of coffee took 9 minutes to arrive and food order took over 35 minutes there were only three tables seated Waitress was sloppy short tempered and rude. Dining room floor was filthy even during what should now be extra attention to cleanliness. Scattered tables were all left filthy and cleaned as needed briefly with Lysol spray and the same rag over and over. Cook not wearing mask waitress not wearing hers correctly nose out and pulled it down whenever she spoke to anyone. Cooks never pulled their masks up. Very disgusting filthy place

Great food at a great price and service was excellent! We were just passing through and thought we'd give it a try. Loved it! Food came out super hot, fresh with fresh ingredients and we just enjoyed it so much. We had the sampler appetizer (good and filling), double cheeseburger fully dressed (hand pattied patties, w/fresh veggies on top) and potato wedges (huge and delicious). Will definitely return. If you're in the area stop by! :) THEY DO ACCEPT CREDIT & DEBIT CARDS!

Pretty much only restaurant in small town of Irvington KY-Ok- in for breakfast early Saturday morning with family; couple family members order burgers; the rest of us ordered sausage and cheese omelette which came with a 1/2 order biscuit and gravy.Rest of the family said the food was good- for the price, which I really don't care that the price of the food was cheap- it was just not good.I can make a better omelette at home! Omelette was cold, cheese not melted- not very appetizing.Biscuit and gravy- bottom of biscuit was hard as a rock and not that it's bad, but being that it was small town Kentucky, figured gravy would not come from a can.Only reason this restaurant gets any stars, it is due to the waitress: Sheryl. She was hospitable- attentive- kept the coffee cup full.Probably would not frequent again- just because you're the only choice in town, still should make your food with some love.

A good little place to eat. Seems to be the only restaurant in irvington KY that can manage to stay open so they must be doing something right. The breakfast is amazing, lunch and dinner tooOnly down fall that I can think of is its cash only,but even then it's not really a down fall.

My father lives in the area and every-time I come to visit him we make sure to go here. It's very pretty inside, and very clean. The food is delicious! I really love their fried chicken, I would definitely recommend that. And the service has always been good, even on busy days. This is the perfect place to take your family for a nice home-style dinner.

I gave it one star for their fried chicken. I couldn't believe they still allow smoking! I had to gag my meal down sitting next to at least 2 smokers. Rest of buffet was bland. Place hasn't upgraded in thirty years. They will NEVER see me again. I actually witnessed a man collecting unused napkins from tables to reuse again!!!

Today I had salmon patties, green beans, mashed potatoes/gravy, and corn muffin. Servers are always friendly and the food is fresh and delicious.
