Green’s Steakhouse

First visit and was not impressed. I have heard so many great things but was sorely disappointed.Seated upstairs, only one server. Ordered food, waited almost an hour before food arrived.No refills on drinks, server never even asked if everything was ok.Will not be back!!! Would not recommend.

First the food was great. My filet was perfectly cooked. If you think you don't like Brussels Sprouts try them here they are fabulous. The service was pretty slow, but to be honest our server was taking care of our party and a very large party and tending the bar as well. She was working hard and did not have a lot of help. The restaurant is pretty neat and inviting. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Madisonville.

Was in town for work and one of my colleagues suggested our group go to Greens for dinner. Turned out to be a great suggestion. When we arrived around 6:15 they were fairly empty and sat our party of 7 right away. They filled up fast and by the time we left there were several parties waiting. I don't think they were expecting a rush on a Tuesday evening. We started with the Deep fried rolls- the strawberry butter and cinnamon honey butter are to die for. They take very donut like especially with the butter. All in our party who ordered steak had it cooked perfectly. There were also several great comments about the broccoli, that it was "fall off the bone", so tender. I had the Gish's chicken. Which tasted very good although the chicken was a tad dry. The waitress was obviously slammed for Tuesday (our party of 7 and party of 11 sat right after us) but made sure to check in and service didn't suffer. Will definitely return when I am back in town.

My wife and I always share the ribeye steak with loaded baked potato. We have never been disappointed. Wait service has not been consistent. I am not a fan of the seating. The piano music is always fun.

Came for a birthday celebration. The service was awesome. There was a person playing piano which was cool ! The food .... Phenomenal! Everything from the rolls to the sides and entrees . It was all very tasty . Would definitely come back .

Great restaurant with deep history of great food. Pineapple margaritas are my favorite. Salad with steak needs work. The rolls need work.

Surprised my parents with a wonderful dinner. The Steaks are amazing and cooked to perfection. The Spinach and Artichoke dip is a must have too. We will return for another fabulous dinner!!

WORST EXPERIENCE IN FOREVER AT GREEN'S IN MADISONVILLE TONIGHTWhat a night to forget my phone!!! First of all, pretty sure NO ALCOHOL made it into my "top shelf lit". Had it remade so I could at least tell it was an adult beverage, but it was so sour I had to order a coke to add to it, and STILL left most of it sitting there. All time worst LIT. (Btw, BE was not behind the bar.)Was real excited about the prime rib pasta, until I got it. Mushrooms out of a can, tiny pieces of asparagus I could barely find, all mixed up to hide the ROUND STEAK they made it with. Tough, tasteless, square chunks of colorless meat. No way that nastiness was prime rib And on top of all that, the other waitress they left "in charge" couldn't even be bothered to come deal with me. Our poor waitress was so embarrassed and upset she was in tears. It was all I could do to walk out without making a scene on her behalf. If the person you leave "in charge" can't do any better than that then perhaps don't leave her alone to abuse other staff members. Bet your ass if that had been her table she would have been doing everything she could to make it rightDON'T EAT AT GREEN'S

From sundown time to leaving was over two hours. This was not because we stayed and talked. The food took FOVEREVER to come out. Well over an hour. For was ok but not worth the wait or price. Not the same place from the first couple times they opened.

I would give zero star at this point. I called to place a carry out order and was told "they're not doing carry out tonight." Okay, I didn't know a restaurant refused carry out or chose which night they would do it. During Covid the community was begged to support by doing carry out, which we did. Now, apparently, it's not good enough. You lost our business, we won't be back.
