Green Kayak Grille & Pub

The food was great. The hamburger was tasty. I so enjoyed the crispy bun with delicious patty, crispy, tomato and lettuce. The fries were also very good. The pizza hoagie was so close to being great. If it had a tastier pizza sauce, it would've been amazing. The onion rings were delicious.

Great place. Extended day time hours now. Food is good . The owner takes pride in participating in community events and offering a location for family and friends to gather.

For those of you that have ventured down US 52 in search of Ulysses S. Grant's birthplace, you drove through a quaint little town called New Richmond. My parents have been calling New Richmond home for quite some time now. The main drag of town is Front street which is located right on the river. There aren't too many businesses located there, but you will find one bar that has stood the test of...the past ten years or so. That bar is Green Kayak.It's actually very impressive how they've been able to grow in such a small community. I suspect the owner is a local celebrity or figure of some sort, as nearly every business on Main (besides Front Street Cafe) seems to disintegrate and close after a year. Green Kayak has bucked the trend and been a mainstay. They've grown a lot too, adding back rooms, a full menu, and volleyball courts.Green Kayak offers a full bar and decent tap selection. It always has a lot of IPAs which aren't my jam, but I know that seems to be the popular style of beer at the moment.My reason for not giving 5 stars is their business hours. They don't have a set close time, despite what the sign outside and Google tell you. My dad and I have been given last call warning numerous times before 9pm. Considering they have absolutely no competition, they can afford to do such things, but it's such a buzzkill to not be able to drink till at least 11. I would recommend taking a peak at Green Kayak, but make sure you visit when the sun is out. Otherwise you might be kicked out.

Well, the service was good, the food was not. I had the fish sandwich below average my fries were cold. My husband had the burger as did my son. It was dry. The best thing was the child's chicken tender meal, which was a good value everything else for what you received was way overpriced Will not come back. It was a nice night out so the doors were propped open and all of the smoke fumes from outside were coming inside. We were there with two children, and frankly none of us appreciated the stench.

Fast service . Got large tater tot appetizer and was so so good just wish it came with a couple more. Would visit again ! A nice spot by the river.

Love this restaurant, best hamburgers around. Very friendly staff. They also have entertainment come in a lot. They are located on Front Street in New Richmond.

This place is fun. Parking might be bad along with service but food is satisfying along with the atmosphere
