Best vineyard and winery in southern Indiana, best sweet wine I've ever had and I don't drink wine. Stellar service, beautiful grounds.

I'm a fan of the winery on Facebook and saw that they will be closing for good this fall due to health issues of the owners. Sad. I do love those goats.

My dad found this place when he was looking for something special to do with my mom, if I recall correctly. He doesn't like wine much, but John (the owner) has created some amazing sweet wines, and a couple of Sangria mixes that he enjoys. The live music in the warmer months is amazing as well, and John tries to support local artists by letting them play, and letting crafting organizations hold small markets on the property. Aside from wine, he sells gourmet syrups, real maple syrup, mixers, salsas, and all kinds of goat-milk based beauty products as well as t-shirts and wine corks.Price wise, it is fairly inexpensive from what I can tell. (I'm not much of a wine drinker either, except for these). Bottles are about fifteen dollars, but you can buy by the glass, or a caraff as well. I am rating it good for kids because they are welcome in the winery. Most kids like to feed the goats, and there is lots of room to roam when the musicians are playing outside as well. However, remember to bring water or something for the kiddos since wine is all you can buy here.
