Our previous visit to Grassa Gramma was disappointing, and I wrote a review reflecting our experience. The manager immediately reached out, apologized and offered a complimentary dinner for my wife and I. This time our visit was superb. We started with salads. My wife ordered a chopped salad and I went with the romaine Caesar with just the right hint of anchovy. Both salads were full sized. The Monday night special was spaghetti with meatballs. My wife is gluten intolerant, and asked for gluten free pasta. They did her one better, and brought out gluten free bread (a flat gf pizza crust). As a reflection of their attention to detail, we were reminded the meatballs have bread crumbs and offered to substitute sausage. The pasta was done al dente. The sauce is not your usual marinara, but a slightly sweeter pomodoro. Add some grated cheese and a little red pepper and you're enjoying dinner in Rome. Our server, Levi, was attentive without being intrusive. The manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was right. To be fair, he was working all the tables. Customer feedback is clearly important to him and he takes comments to heart. Grassa Gramma made more than amends and served up a delicious and memorable meal.

Made reservations for dinner here last night for our first visit. We sat in the middle by the water fountain. The interior was designed to look like Italy with a little renaissance twist and was dimly lit. The server was very friendly and provided us some recommendations for dinner entrees. We did not run out of water one time and the server was very attentive throughout our evening. We both loved our food and were veryyy full. We started off with the complimentary focaccia and ordered the polenta and meatball as an appetizer. My husband ordered the veal Parmesan and thought it was very good! I got the chicken francaise and absolutely loved it! We also came home with 2 full boxes of left overs! This place was great all around. We would definitely come back here again!

Grassa Grammar has grown on me since it opened. The food quality has improved greatly. Portion sizes are good. Atmosphere is fun , like eating in Epcot' s Restaurants. Brunch on Sunday features fresh seafood, a carving station, pasta , and omelettes made to order. The men's room is still filthy, covered in urine due to it firm over function design.

Another great experience here. We went here last minute because they did a deal where all entrees are 50% off on Tues, W, and Th in January for their anniversary. I got a last minute reservation and then headed there. Upon arriving, it turned out I had accidentally made a reservation for a couple days from now and they were very busy. The hostess was very kind and accommodating and squeezed us in. Our waitress Mimi was lovely! The mussels here are some of favorite in the city.

This place is super busy so make a reservation or be ready to wait. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. We finally were able to sit at the bar as no tables were free. The inside was beautiful and I think it was a church or something before. Very nice but a bit dim. The food was good. I had the pizza an a side of Brussels sprouts. Both were good but that was about it. I think it's for a sure a fun place and will have to try more another time. Prices are pretty fair and the portions are huge.

IMMACULATE! 10/10 romantic Italian date night. I had the bolognese and my partner had the stroganoff! We both were in pasta heaven and had to get the meatballs and the tiramisu!!

The food was 5 stars and absolutely delicious however I wasn't impressed with how a situation was handled.Let's start with the food. It is full of flavor and quite literally mouthwatering. I'm not kidding, looking at these photos makes me want to return asap. I added sausage to my pasta and it easily became a meal for two, I was able to take some home. I told my husband he could have some... unfortunately he was too slow and it was too tasty so it disappeared. Oops. The tiramisu was lovely. It wasn't massive but my friend and I split it without being too full. I also got a decaf espresso and it was delightful with the tiramisu, highly recommend!Okay now let's talk about the reason for taking away a star aka the situation. My visit was on 6/4/24 (yes it has taken me awhile to write this review but such is life) and there was some issues with the alarms going off. Sometimes it was a quiet buzzing, other times it was loud and distracting. At one point it was so bad I was on the brink of an anxiety attack. I do not fault the business for this, as things happen. However I do not like how they handled the end of the night. We had just gotten our dessert when the waitress approaches and kindly tells us that we need to get Togo boxes and leave ASAP because they are fixing the alarm system and need everyone out. Of course we become a little flustered because we had just received dessert, had full glasses of wine and espresso. We tell her that's fine, give us boxes. In the meantime we begin eating the dessert quickly. No one wants to take home a few bites of tiramisu and taking the wine or espresso would not have been favorable. In a rush we finish our dessert and are working on the drinks when the check comes. We very quickly pay and are ushered out into the parking lot where other families have gathered.Overall this interaction left a very negative impression. I wish the situation had been handled differently. Perhaps the manager could have spoke to the tables (there was less than 5 tables at this point) and let us know what was going on sooner so we were prepared and didn't order dessert and extra drinks. Perhaps they could have given us a to go dessert and taken off our drinks we weren't able to have. Im not sure what the answer is but I don't like going to a restaurant and feeling like I'm at the bar at closing time. This place is too nice to be rushing customers out the door.Overall: I want to come back but will be weary of how issues are handled.

It's like your stepping into Italy. When we first arrived, the ambiance was absolutely amazing. I still dream about their fresh homemade pasta. I have been several times and always recommend this restaurant. The service was attentive and we got our food promptly. The one and only complaint I have is when our server kept trying to promote their Sunday brunch. The flyer was on the table and he mentioned it several times throughout the night, as well as, when he brought the check, that was a turn off.

My brunch experience was subpar, but I received a call from the GM of the restaurant apologizing and detailing his efforts on correcting the issues. He also refunded the entire bill. I am impressed. Will definitely try them again. I feel confident that my experience may be different the next time.
