Grandview Tavern

The Grandview was fine. I had a burger on Cincinnati burger week. The burger was good but was only lukewarm. I was in on lunch and they were not overly busy. I also had a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned. The cocktail was really good. There was plenty of parking right outside the door to the restaurant. I also had sweet potato fries. This place probably deserves another chance and I may try again when it is not burger week to see how well they do. Service was also a tad slow for the number of patrons in the place. The bathroom was nice and it was also super clean so they did that right. I will get back there to try it again sometime over the next year.

We came here to see a group play music(Acoustic Blue), but really enjoyed our dining experience. We had the spicy salmon bowl and the poke bowl. Both were very good. I was skeptical of "crispy" salmon bites, but they were good. Our server did not try to rush us through our meal since we were there to enjoy the music. We will definitely return since we saw many things on the menu that peaked our interests.

What a cute, clean and spacious place. We went for me a glass of wine and Mom Joyce dessert plus to listen to Jeff Henry perform. We had a blast and we will return for dinner another time when Jeff's performing. Hoping they can fix me a vegan meal. See you next time!

I visited here for dinner on a Friday night with my significant other and her mother. We did not have a reservation, but despite being very busy they were able to seat us in the back room. There was live music in the front room and a lively bar, although the backroom seemed like an older, slightly outdated, acquired space that was at least quiet and spacious.The restaurant were extremely busy, so I didn't fault the service for being slower and a bit more inconsistent - they were still friendly enough and calm. I ordered a riesling to go with an order of oysters and an entree of Beer Battered Cod with a side of Mac & Cheese. Unfortunately I never got my oysters, which was disappointing. The food we received, while not breathtaking, was still solid. My entree was satisfying, and a nice cap to a long week. We had a snafu with one of the other entrees where they food came out cold, but it was able to be reheated and tasted fine after.Overall a solid impromptu experience. I would be curious to come here during a less busy time period and try their burgers, although I don't feel compelled to come here for dinner on a weekend again.

We sat outside in pleasant weather at one of their high topped tables. The Cincinnati Burger Week special was a French Bistro Burger with 6oz patty, caramelized onions, bacon crumbles, Brie cheese sauce, and balsamic drizzle. I thought the bun and the burger were average, even a tad small; no customizations are allowed so all burgers are served medium (my go-to is medium rare). I love cheese but the Brie cheese sauce was a bit subtle. Service was great; the kitchen split our order of sweet potato fries between two plates which was thoughtful of them!

Grandview Tavern has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the Greater Cincinnati area over the last couple of months. I love the live music on the weekends and the food is fantastic! My go-to is the locomotive burger with sweet potato fries.

I remember it being better 3 or 4 years ago, maybe the dinner menu. Flight delayed at CVG airport, stopped in for a quick drink & bite. Nice bar ambience & outdoor seating. Red pepper soup was good! Fish & Chips were alright. It was served on toast, which I thought was weird. Usually a Fish & Chips Sandwich comes on a hoagie or something bigger for the two pieces. A bit over fried. Bartender was nice & quick.

Went for 1st time tonight. Ordered 2 orders of JUMBO WINGS, $16 for 12 wings. I think there was a typo in the menu... should have said mini chicken wings. They tasted good but we're some of the tiniest wings we've ever had. Meatloaf was ok, but overpriced at $22. Probably won't be back.

Food was good , server did a nice job. The place only had a few people in it however it took forever to get drinks and our food , bartender was nowhere to be found.

We went to the Grandview Tavern two nights ago for dinner.The service was incredibly slow, and they said that they couldn't take orders because "the computers are down and we don't want to overwhelm the kitchen."We sat for over 2 hours watching other diners arrive, order, and eat before our server agreed to let us order.The burger was good, but the pizza was inedible. Frozen cardboard crust and disgusting toppings. We couldn't eat it and just left it.I get that they might have been having computer issues, but the kitchen couldn't have been overwhelmed. They wouldn't be cooking more food than normal. The dining room was completely empty. We were amazed that they kept seating people despite not serving them.We watched multiple tables walk out.If they weren't capable of serving drinks or food, they should have stopped seating people and closed. That's what I would expect from any restaurant that takes pride in what they do. If you aren't able to put out a decent product, you suck it up and close.We have no interest in ever going back.
