Gramps Coffee & Donuts

Delicious drinks and donuts! The donuts are just everything's I'm not a donut oilers on but these pastries are delicious and the staff is very friendly. The place is very cozy and very inviting. Stop in and make your own opinion. But it is well worth it. My favorite part of the visit was..... where they have a sign and it says surprise me....: it is the best since I could not make my mind up, I had them surprise me with a drink. It did not disappoint! It was delicious! Did give them hints as to what I like in general with drinks. Please try the patties they are just the best! Then again that is my opinion. You should stop in and taste everything.

Gramps? More like Grumps! I walked in with a coffee from Creme coffeehouse and after I ordered, they made me put my coffee in one of THEIR cups..Hopefully they start making better coffee, then I wouldn't have to go to two places!

Wow! The donuts and coffee were both delicious. We were all impressed by the flakiness of the donuts. They didn't particularly look appetizing but the taste was great. They reminded me of a cronut instead of a traditional donut. The coffee was perfect with many different options. We decided to eat there because the sitting area was big enough for our large group. I wish we lived nearby instead of just visiting. This could easily be a staple in my breakfast routine!

Truly amazing donuts and coffee drinks! Know that this is not a typical donut, rather similar to a cronut (the croissant donut, a little more doughy). These donuts were flavorful and such a treat! I am so glad that we stopped by on our way out of town.

Really good coffee. I was so glad to find them open as I was out on a walk and got caught in the rain. Sadly the donuts didn't make it back to the Airbnb

Visiting from California, in early and had to find a place to chill before our Green River tour. Service was exquisitely quick and nice! Found Gramps, local, to give a go. Delicious special Smashing Pumkin drink and great pumpkin donut!Would definitely come back again!Let's go!!

Definitely not like a Dunkin or most other donut shops. Most donut shops have cake and raised, circles and bars and rolls, and so on--so, different doughs and different shapes as well as different toppings. But here at Gramps there's one basic donut, doughy but in layers--like a cronut, if you know what I mean--and you choose between a bunch of different toppings. Oh man. I tried a chocolate, a cinnamon sprinkle, and a creme brulee. The first two were great but the creme brulee was fantastic. When I ordered it they picked up a blowtorch and brulee'd it right there, leaving shiny crunchy caramelized bits of the frosting on top. Wow, it was so delicious!Nice people, too. Try it!

I am usually in Owensboro a couple times a year. This is my first time visiting this place. The donuts looked and tasted delicious. The coffee was nice and hot! They were very busy on a Sunday morning. This looks like a very nice small town place to visit! I will be back.

A colleague recommended a stop at Gramps before a late morning rehearsal. Good call. Charming atmosphere, helpful staff and amazing Cronut style doughnuts that literally disappear once the cute little box is opened. Can't wait to revisit and try more of their specials. Unique, trendy and this place was pretty busy too. Parking was right next to the shop. Loved it all.

The best coffee and donuts I've had!! The crème brule and whiskey donuts were such a neat specialty treat! The typical ones were really good too. Like cronuts. Such a gem to stumble upon!! A must go!
