Was looking for some good eats after our trip to Kentucky Kingdom and we headed down to the 4th Street Live district for dinner and some drinks. It wasn't especially busy for a Sunday evening, so we were able to get seated quickly and they were accommodating with some seats out on the patio area, which was a nice place to people watch. We watched groups and couples and families enjoying the evening as well. For drinks, I went with the Marzen, an "original Oktoberfest style lager is extremely smooth, auburn colored with a mildly sweet Munich Malt finish." It had a beautiful color and hit the spot after a busy day down at the park. My eldest daughter had the Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade made with Ole Smoky Moonshine and had good things to say about it. For the meal, I went with the French Dip and horseradish on the side. A tasty sandwich, could have been a little warmer, and while the au jus was tasty, it seemed like a fairly small quantity for a large sandwich. We also split the calamari appetizer, which was just enough for two. All in all, a wonderful dining experience on a beautiful autumn evening.

The good: attentive server. Clean and attractive interior. The average: Food and drink. The in-house festbier was unexciting. The fish and chips was just ok.

3 people in restaurant. Only have their own brewed beer, which makes sense as it's a brewery. Had 1 beer. The Lager. Was almost flat and not cold. Was $9. Haha. I would not eat here. $18 for an order of wings? Come on. No way this place can stay afloat.

In town for business and wanted a quick dinner. Saw GB nearby and stopped in early. I was greeted by friendly staff, seated quickly and got the scoop on their craft beer and before you know it, I've got a great drink and fish and chips in front of me. The beer was fantastic, a winterbock that was really smooth. Fish and chips were solid. Really nice experience and great value.

Down town Louisville 4th Street Live. Emily W. was a great waitress she was nice, worked on the ticket to make sure it was perfect for my girlfriends work and per diem. She also wasn't pushy and always asking if she could take our order like most waitresses. America forgets that a steak house isn't fast food. But the pizza was good and the steak was really good!!I would recommend this place as an evening meal.

I was in town for a conference. My plane landed around 730P. By the time I checked in and got to 4th St it was 845P. I waited until 9P for some coworkers. The dining room was pretty much empty and the hostess told us she had to check and see if they were on a wait. When she came back a couple minutes later the only thing she said was "Come on". I looked at my coworkers and without saying anything we all agreed she was seating us and that we weren't off to a great start. She took us to a booth in back past the bar. When she got there she put 4 menus on the table and dropped the silver on top and just walked away. We weren't in a rush other than we didn't want to order food too late with them closing at 10P. Our server came pretty quickly and grabbed us waters. It took a while for the beers to come out. Ordered the salmon with double broccoli. The salmon was okay. I only got a single order of broccoli but I wasn't super hungry so it wasn't worth saying anything. I don't make it to Louisville often, but I definitely won't come back to GB.

It is a nice place since it is on 4th Street Live. It is quiet on the week which I prefer. Their service is excellent, and the bartender is so nice. I had deviled eggs as a starter. It is so good but spicy which I love it.I ordered waygu burgers and had it cooked to medium. It was just perfect. I enjoyed two beers. I wish it would be nice to have more choices, but I guess it is something related to their brewery from Houston, TX. This place is good for tourists and people who have office nearby

Nothing real special, big microbrew tap if that's your thing. We had good service and the food was ok. A lot cheaper than the GB at Detroit Metro Airport. Part of the fourth street live area that Louisville had high but dashed hopes for.

Went at 4pm and they had tons of empty tables. We were a party of 2! There was a Mardi Gras parade the next block. We were told 15 minute wait. Meanwhile two HUGE parties came in and were immediately sat (guaranteed tips) while we sat over 30 minutes. Finally left and went somewhere else and the hostess was completely clueless. Was our first time trying and won't ever try again! Absolutely zero customer service.

The drinks were good. I was hugely disappointed in the Ahi Tuna Salad! Four small pieces of tuna on a giant heap of lettuce. I ended up ordering a calamari appetizer to add to the salad to have something to eat with all that lettuce. If you're looking for a good tuna tataki salad go to Sapporo on Bardstown Rd. You will get a plate full of sushi grade ahí tuna!
