Good Folks Coffee

Our freshly roasted beans usually arrive 1-2 days after ordering. However, day after day we saw box arriving. We filed a claim with UPS but never heard anything. I called Good Folks just to make sure they shipped. They had. But, wanting us to have fresh beans, they just shipped a fresh order, no charge & they will take it up with UPS. Thanks for excellent service!

I was recently at Good Folks Coffee for the Cardinal Spirits Louisville Launch event. It was a blast! Good Folks is a wholesale coffee roaster based here in Louisville. They ship coffee to cafes, grocery stores, offices, restaurants and homes throughout the United States. Recently, they've partnered with Cardinal Spirits to create Songbird, a craft coffee liqueur. And it's amazing. Songbird is described on Cardinal Spirits' website as, "...magical elixir that is made with a ton of roasted coffee, Bourbon vanilla beans and cane sugar." I don't even drink coffee, but the cocktails they were making with Songbird during the launch event were really tasty! Plus, I love to see Cardinal Spirits expanding distribution for the first time outside of Indiana into Kentucky. I can't wait to have their delicious products here at home! Good Folks Coffee beans are sold by the bag to several locations around Louisville, including Whole Foods, Rainbow Blossom, and ValuMarket. You can find their brewed coffee at Please & Thank You and Press on Market. Plus, their space in the Shelby Park area is awesome! I'm not sure if they're planning to rent it for events in the future, but they should! There's a large space out behind the storefront that's perfect for hanging out, playing corn hole, and enjoying some delicious iced coffee cocktails.

They roast the best darn coffee in town! If you haven't tried it I highly recommend picking up a cup at Please and Thank You or a bag of whole beans at Whole Foods!

I was recently here for the Louisville Launch Party of Good Folks and Cardinal Spirits joint venture with a delicious coffee liquor. Cardinal Spirits also has a handful of other tasty beverages that were all there for our sampling. Yum! The Blackberry Rum was delicious. The best part was they chose some awesome cocktails to mix up for us that allowed us to get an idea of the flavors while adding some other yummy extras. My favorite was the Bramble rum one with Serrano peppers! Yum! I wish they had an actual bar and retail set up here so that I could stop in more often for a tasty drink after a long day at work. Maybe in the future. The snacks they provided were perfect and the space out back was amazing. Loads of room to hang out and party...or play corn-hole. :)Glad we have such a fun partnership here in Louisville. It is worth the time for your taste buds!
