Somewhat small shop. I happily found bottles of ayran, which I purchased. I also bought a bottle of kvass and some polish sweets as well. The employee who helped me was absolutely deadpan, silent and didn't even look at me the entire transaction which was a bit weird. However, another lady behind the register smiled, said goodbye and gratefully thanked me for my business. Overall, it's a great shop with some nice finds from Eastern Europe!

I have driven past a hundred times never noticed it was a international market. I was on line searching for German food and this popped up I'm not a person who knows what I'm looking at when I shop ethnic markets but I like diversity. The owner is very friendly and helpful you won't be able to use not being able to read the labels as a excuse. He will explain them and make you feel right at home. Take time to stop in you will be glad you did.

This a great place to get your international food. You have a huge array of items through out the store. You can get everything for your sushi making needs and or try any and all noodles for your liking. As you can see from my purchases that I pretty much picked up a little of everything that I had no idea what it was. But will be willing to try it at least once. LolFeel free to stop in to this wonderful place and shop for anything that tickles your fancy. The candy is good and so is the food as I have now had a chance to cook some of the items I have purchased.

Friendly staff will help if you want it. I came into browse but certainly didn't leave empty-handed. Most of my purchases were of a sweet variety. Everything is excellent: jams, honey and chocolate!! I appreciate that English labels were included. As I was checking out, cashier recommended one of pastries they had on the counter. Even though I figured it was a typical sales tactic, I caved. But I was wrong, this was not a sales tactic but the best pastry I've had since we visited Europe: so, ask about their fresh poppyseed danish.

This is one of the many ethnic gems of Buechel. Having spent six years in Ukraine, I am always on the lookout for Chumak sauces, Sandora juices, cookies etc. I went in looking for those and the owner (Alex?) was very helpful. I did not find them but this store carries plenty of Russian products. There are various cooking sauces in jars, teas, cookies, candy, kefir, smethana etc. And they have many varieties of kielbasa. The owner was very friendly and even helped me brush up on my rusty Russian. I docked a star because I noticed a pack of cookies was past its date. So, while you're here for your Russian needs, make sure to check the products you buy. Will be back to try the kielbasa.

Here you can only buy products with a long shelf life. But confectionery, dairy products, fish and meat are almost always unfit for consumption. Violated shelf life and rotten products. For the first kefir I got my money back. For the second kefir, the same person explained to me that in their homeland, this is how kefir should be, with lumps and slime. Not edible. Be prepared for this if you venture into this store. The problem is that the store owners are unwilling or unable to ensure the proper quality of the goods on display. If you read the previous reviews, you will see that for the normal condition of this store. https://disk.yandex.ru/a/2NhccHpjJMmQaw

I just left Kathmandu Kitchen around the corner and was thinking about a dessert to take home when I saw this market. I saw the word bakery so we went inside to see what they had. There is a deli and International groceries, gifts and more. I enjoyed speaking with the owners from Armenia, Alik and Arina. They are so nice. My wife and friends and myself picked out some pre-packaged cookies and cake which we enjoyed back at the house. I wish I lived closer to this store, but will visit again when we dine at Kathmandu again. We come over from Jeffersonville, IN. There was a nice room in the back for private parties and a bigger room upstairs for Bigger parties. Arina told us she was preparing for a wedding coming up. It is so cool to have an International store like this in the neighborhood. The deli items looked fabulous. I may need to take some home when I get over there again. I didn't recognize any familiar items in the store. It was like being in another country. Alik gave us a sample of some peanut butter and chocolate mousse he makes. I bought a pound to take home. I'm glad he gave us a sample, else I wouldn't have known how good it was. This is a store worth checking out when you get time.
