Ghost Fox Winery

Ghost Fox Winery opened its doors in Nicholasville, Kentucky recently and you'll want to go visit.Utilizing grapes from California, they make some wonderful whites, reds and sparkling wines. Pair with their charcuterie for an afternoon or evening of fun with friends. Sample a flight and choose your favorite from their award winning wines.Sit out on their amazing patio with a lovely view. My friends and I visited this winery a while ago, and I really can't wait to go back. They are a new winery near the Lexington area and a definite stop if you are visiting wineries in the area. The tasting room and porch area has a lot of sitting space, as well as seating at the bar. I really can't wait to go back as the weather gets warmer and use the outdoor space. They do have more dry wines than sweet, but they were delicous. They have an unoaked chardonnay that I enjoyed. They do have cocktails available as well. The charcuterie board was also very good. We split it between our group and found it was enough between pairs. The owners talked with us as we sampled and were very kind and knowledgeable.

So excited for this new winery in Kentucky. The tasting room is so inviting and peaceful. We sat at the bar and did a tasting as well as split a charcuterie board. The owners were great to talk to and I can't wait to come back and visit in the spring, when the patio is open. Service was amazing. The wines were all good. The chardonnay was my overall favorite but I liked everything I tried. The charcuterie was the perfect snack. Ghost Fox is a great addition to the Kentucky wine scene. They do tend to lean more dry when it comes to the wine but even our semi-sweet friend found something she liked. Will definitely be back to this winery.

Had an amazing time at Ghost Fox Winery. A couple of friends and I had a private event in their tasting room and had the best time! Loved all of the decorations and open seating! Everybody should check it out! The owners, Mallory and Josh were extremely welcoming and answered all of our questions about wine making. Would strongly encourage trying their Chardonnay!!

Got to visit Ghost Fox Winery tonight for a private event and check it out before its grand opening.This place is beautiful!! The space is decorated so bright and welcoming. It's a perfect place to come hang out at or host an event at. Make sure you try the merlot, it's my favorite!

Tried out this new winery today. It is absolutely fabulous!! Some of the best wi es we have had in KY!! The ambiance is peaceful and encourages conversation. There are indoor and outdoor areas for gathering. They also have a space where you can hold a private event and it is gorgeous. They have both dry and sweet wines and they were all very good. I also liked their creativity- they had a basil strawberry and spicy cucumber- both of which were on point! They are currently only open Saturdays, so plan accordingly. The owners are incredibly friendly and it's easy to see their passion for what they do. You MUST check this winery out if you are ever in the area.

Super cute winery. Decor is very "modern farmhouse," owners are a nice younger couple, very friendly. Not to mention they bring their dog in to socialize with the guests. They had a sampling of a Red Zinfandel that was amazing, however, they had run out of it. My friends really enjoyed the Strawberry Basil wine. Very cute & comfy place.

Gorgeous drive to get there. I love the esthetics....its beautiful and calming. Our host was knowledgeable. The tasting experience and charcuterie board was perfect. I will definitely visit again

The wine is more akin to sugared vinegar. There are several wineries in the area that have friendly/knowledgeable staff (this was severly lacking), beautiful surroundings and delicious wine. Would recommend literally any of these before going here.

Truly amazing, Mallory is the absolute best. We rented for an event we held and they were so helpful. They were completely on top of serving the guests we invited and were always willing to jump in if needed. Truly a beautiful place to hold any event, and we had so much space to host. 10/10 would absolutely rent from them again.
