Freshie's Ice Cream & Soda Fountain

My husband was craving ice cream...we went by Cold Stone. There was a line & only seemed to be one staff person. So I looked up alternatives. I've heard of Freshie's but have never been. Upon entrance I knew I would enjoy the space. Very nostalgic! Super cute & bright! We ordered the same thing, ice cream mixed with oreoes, caramel, & other stuff. We were pleased with our choices and the customer service. I also loved being able to sample. I definitely will return with my grandchildren, I saw coloring sheets adorning the wall & they love that. I want to try the soda fountain area & get a sundae!

A super cute and retro styled ice cream shop! We came in after dinner at Ramsey's and enjoyed our ice cream! The servers were very friendly and helpful when asked questions about allergen related issues. They have fun dairy and non-dairy (vegan) flavors of ice cream, so there's plenty to choose from! I was still full from dinner so I had a scoop of vanilla with caramel and orea crumbs and my fiancé had a scoop of blackberry lemon bar! Overall, a super cute shop and I definitely want to come back to try a float

I stopped by here on a whim. I'm a sucker for a good ice cream shop. Freshie's is absolutely adorable!!! It's designed like an old school ice cream parlor. They have a large variety of vegan ice cream which was exciting because I'm used shops only have 1 flavor that's vegan and often that's sherbert. I got cookies and cream with hot fudge and rainbow sprinkles. I found the portions to be generous and was unable to eat all of mine. The attendants were friendly and when you ask for a sample it's given to you on a full sized spoon. I will definitely return to this vintage themed dessert shop.

Cute little spot, very 'on brand' with the whole soda fountain atmosphere, right down to the doo wop music. I went near closing on a Friday night and it wasn't busy, but there were still several groups either finishing up (dining in) or waiting to order carry out. The employees were super sweet and they had a lot of variety in the ice cream cases; I opted for scoops of Rockin Crocs and Caramel Cocoa Coffee Bean, while my husband got Kit Kat and Peanut Butter Brownie Crunch. We were both satiated by the sugar, and the flavors were ok, but not overly impressive. Bottom line: I'd drive 5 minutes farther for Baskin Robbins any day of the week.And not that I've compared prices between here and anywhere else, maybe I'm just getting old, but $16 (after tip) for 2 double scoops seems exorbitant. ‍ I'd pay it without complaint at BR!

Such delicious treats! The girls behind the counter were extremely helpful. They were giving us tastes after tastes, even though they were quite busy. The shop is cute. I enjoyed sitting at a table listening to the lovely tunes playing.

Stopped by with my family for some ice cream after dinner. We waited 15 minutes to order and then an additional 15 to get our two scoops of ice cream, one of which was messed up and had to be remade. The ice cream was tasty but nothing special. Also a bit pricey for the amount you're given. Staff were mostly in training but for the time we waited, it wasn't really worth it.

I love this place, the ice cream is some of the best I have ever had, the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is so friendly! 10/10

Wonderful ambience, staff and shakes! The old fashioned looking refrigerator definitely adds to the decoration!

Very good ice cream shop and I love the homemade sodas. The atmosphere is great and the theme of the shop is awesome. However it is somewhat expensive for the amount and quality of food.
