Enjoyed an amazing experience at Frost, FALW's pop up Christmas bar with my husband and close friends! Each of our drinks were unique and delicious, served in festive drinkers admidst a fun Christmas backdrop. The bartender was super friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed our time drinking in the spirit of Christmas!

Whether you're venturing off into the Bourbon Trail, or just simply in Louisville, Frankfort Ave is definitely a spot to check out. The store has some good bottles for sale, but the real gem is the bar. They have a ton of different bottles to try at the bar, spanning from highly allocated stuff, dusties, single barrel picks, and way more. The prices are pretty fair and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They ambiance is nice with plenty of space to just hangout with some pours of whiskey. Frankfort Ave is always a stop whenever I'm in Louisville. I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves whiskey!

In the fun Clifton neighborhood, we tried Frankfort Avenue LiquorsNot only is it a locally owned liquor store but it's also a great bar with live music. The drinks, the great ambience, the location are all fabulous. It's one of my new favorite spots!

A liquor store/bar in a area with plenty of choices. What will bring me back when in the area is the customer care. Was treated well while visiting and staff was helpful with bourbon education and decent pours. The retail pricing on some select bottles is on the higher end. Regular item pricing was on par with market rates Stop in, have a drink or a pour. Its a nice open space well lit and a friendly environment.

Frankfort Avenue Liquors and Wine is a unique addition to one of the best culinary corridors in the city. My husband and I found ourselves in the area recently after a late dinner and decided to pop in and check the place out. Half specialty liquor and wine store and half cocktail bar, I can see this becoming a local staple in the neighborhood. We ordered drinks at the bar and headed to a high-top table to sip and people watch. My general impression was that it was loud for a cocktail bar. The high ceilings that create a feeling of openness during the day became too loud with the live music (country that evening). That alone kept it from having an intimate cocktail feel. The people watching was the best part - young professionals with a hole to burn in their pocket were gathered there that evening. I was amused to see that things nobody my age would have been caught dead in during our early twenties - platform sandals that had gone the way of the last millennium, wide-leg jeans with a mom-jean rise, and large-print floral vests seemed to be en vogue, all pulled together with the plastic hair claws that most places stopped selling 25 years ago...until now. People watching aside, I would pop back in to grab a specialty bottle of wine or liquor, but probably skip the loud late night cocktail hour.

Unique approach to the liquor industry offering in the Louisville area. It is a great bar, package store, with a very good selection of wine/beer/liquor to goAnd a secluded special events area which is where my group had arranged for a wine and bourbon tasting event for about 24 people.. Chad and his staff put on a great presentation. After our event we retired to the bar are to enjoy a perfectly prepared cocktail ( I recommend the old fashion )While enjoying the live music that started at 7pmNo cover charges Mixed age groups but as the night wore onIs older folks left the place to go home as it was our bed time LOLI highly recommend that you try this little gem

I'd been to FAL once or twice before my most recent visit, but those times were always in the evening when this place gets bumpin' - I even remember some live music. I decided to bring my friend here recently, mostly because it's one of the few places open on Mondays. She ordered a beer on draft and I opted for the espresso martini on the menu, much to the dismay of the bartender it seems - lol. He groaned when I ordered it but after my first sip I joked with him about how delicious it was and if he didn't want people ordering it, he shouldn't be so good at making them! I think I won him over a little bit in the end. Anyway, it was pretty quiet on a weekday - only a few people came through and my friend and I were able to easily catch up in the quiet. I'll be back again annnnnd I'll probably have to order that yummy espresso martini again, despite the possible eye roll.

The BEST espresso martinis in town- and actually the best drinks in town. Plus they have 600+ bourbons available to taste...so there's that. . Absolute hidden gem in Louisville. Now... for the holidays, they have are having their pop up Christmas experience! And it's just awesome. Just do it. And go. Oh, bring or order in your own food. Dog friendly. And might just get to meet Moose. If you know, you know.
