From all outside appearances, this place is really nice. That is very deceiving. We arrived late last night to seek shelter from bad weather on our travels, and will only be staying for a few hours of sleep. The toilet had a ring of mildew, not only in it, but also all over the seat too. The bathtub is surrounded by mildewed tile. The bed was comfortable, but only had summer bedding on it and it got down in the teens during the night...ice storm is expected this morning. There were a few hairs on the pillows. There was also a giant LEGO on the floor that when my husband stepped on, felt just as bad as when we used to have kids! The free breakfast consisted of a box of old, dried blueberry muffins in an an old dirty fridge, with coffee and curdled cream, the orange and apple juice was watered down (it tasted like wit dirty dish water) and we ended up at Shoney's before being able to leave town.I'd recommend that NO ONE stay here. It's truly gross.

My rating for the Four Seasons Country Inn went up and down so many times while I was staying there. I really wanted to walk out of this place with a solid four star feeling. After all, they get bonus points for not being scary with the chintzy floral patterns, like so many other bed and breakfasts. Unfortunately, the "meh" outweighed the few good parts.First let's talk location - set in the idyllic southern Kentucky countryside (lots of rolling hills and cows), just a short drive from Mammoth Cave, and yes, it's a dry county. So come prepared. On a side note, the local BBQ is cheap and fantastic. I think people expect a good value when they aren't distracted by booze. The neighborhood food was definitely one of the best parts of the visit. Location gets 4 stars. The Inn - simple, Victorian, not at all gaudy and clean. Definitely no "wow" factor, but not creepy either. 3 stars. The room - this was the first big disappointment. We splurged on the non-smoking honeymoon suite with the in-room jacuzzi. The tub was nice and big, but we ran out of hot water when it was about 4 inches deep. We tried turning off the water for a while so the water heater could do its thing, but the water would stay hot for only 30 seconds. This was fast approaching a 1 star situation, so Dan called down to the front desk to see if the management could do anything about it. The owner admitted that she'd been having problems with that water heater, and then offered to move us to the smoking-permitted jacuzzi suite. I actually thought the second room was cuter, and the hot water was definitely on, but it did smell very smoky. I didn't mind it too much, but it wound up being a kinda weird night. The bed was comfy. Overall experience = 3 stars. The breakfast - this was the second major disappointment. It was horrible! I've had better continental breakfasts at the Days Inn. Raisin Bran in a plastic tub with a pull back lid, a tasteless, frozen bagel, orange juice that tasted like earwax and a banana - that was my breakfast. When I think "bed and breakfast" I expect the meal part to be better than something I would prepare for myself at home. There were things at this breakfast you would have to pay me to eat, like Sara Lee danishes in little plastic wrappers and "french toast" bread, which were yellow slices of bread (dyed to look as though they have been cooked in egg) that you pop in the toaster and then drown in syrup. Ugh. 1 star. The owner was very nice and probably has good intentions. I got a sense of scraping by in the off season. I just didn't feel like it was a great value for what we paid.

I stayed here during the time I was on my business trip. This is a cute little inn and the ladies who worked there are really sweet and nice. There were many cable channels, so I wasn't bored at night. I had my food network on and that's pretty much all I need haha. The inn was so quiet, that I was afraid when I sing in my shower, others would hear me. I believe the first night I was there, there were a few others who lodged there. However second night I believe I was the only one who was spending the night. It's a bed and breakfast type of inn, which had juice and milk cartons that reminds me of grade school breakfast/lunches. The cereals also reminded me of grade school too. There's bananas, frozen pancakes, cereal bars, bananas/apples and other juices. There's a farm in the field in the back with cows. The patio area is a cute place for relaxation on the swinging patio chairs. There's also souvenirs made by locals that are sold at the sitting area by the fireplace. It's really a nice quiet little place for a short get away.

Great bed and breakfast/hotel combo. My room was clean and modern. It was so quiet here! I also had access to a nice patio. Very nice staff. I was there to visit Mammoth Cave. I highly recommend this hotel over others near the expressway in Cave City. Cave City chain hotels wanted $80 plus per night before tax! My room here cost me $73 before tax. Again, the room was wonderful.

Went here in 2022 it was amazing! Relaxing! I loved the bow views, the porch swing! Will go here every time I am on vacation in that area! The staff was amazing! He wasn't on site but if I needed anything it was easy to get ahold of the owners!

This is not a bad place, it is horrible. Nasty inside and out. Electric outlets do not work. Holes in walls, nasty and more nasty. I travel extensively, this is the worst place I have visited in 35 plus years. Strings for door handles. The pool is filled with sand. I would just sleep in the car before staying here again.

Do NOT stay here. When we arrived the outside was covered in spiderwebs, window screens were all knocked out with the exception of one hanging by a thread, the room did NOT have jetted tubs as shown in the picture, the "balcony" was a wooden deck that felt like it was going to fall off the building, the outdoor furniture all had cigarette burns in it, ashtrays were all overflowing, lobby was in shambles, I noticed something was holding up the headboard and laughing I looked down to see what it was and under the bed were four or five glue traps completely full of bugs and that's when I heard something and turned around and the biggest mouse I've ever seen had got stuck in a glue trap and was pulling it behind him. The locks on the room door were in such bad shape you could have easily just pulled hard and opened it, towels that started off white were brown and falling apart. My husband and I left five minutes after checking in so thanks to this company we drove all that way for a fun Labor Day weekend just to end up back at home, out the money for gas, out the money for a hotel and PISSED off.

If zero was possible it would be that! Once you check in and fill payment for your stay is made there is no one at the front desk as they leave and you have to call if you need anything. No breakfast as stated, which is probably good as there were mice fevers in all the kitchen drawers and old furniture in kitchen area ash trays over flowing on porch tables, hole in bathroom wall where a fixture was taken out and a smaller one put in and never repaired, a hole that an attempt was made unsuccessfully going out the door and painted diff color, no outlets on wall worked except on the lights that were attached to the wall not close to the bed and way to bright, a screw driver held the security camera up on porch, weeds growing in all the flower beds, garbage and linen service was never done you put your garbage on the porch to be picked up when they came back, screen door had a string to open and close it no knob, not a clean property at all. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere oh and no mat or skid strip in bathtub so husband fell twice from slipping( when Informed I give credit they brought one when we notified) and no extra toilet paper in room had to call to get when they came back ( better call early)
