Hark! My lady and I embarked on a journey of an hour and a half to a quaint hamlet. A word of counsel: during this season, verily check for festivals. We arrived to find the village abuzz with their grand Honeyfest, and lo, the tavern we sought lay at the very heart of it. During such festivities, their menu is limited, and finding a place for our steed in the rear was naught short of a miracle.We had aspired to partake in their famed roast beef Manhattan, but alas, the restricted fare dashed our hopes, as if the devil himself sought solace in a cool drink. Thus, I opted for the hamburger, while my lady chose the loaded fries with Philly steak. Together, we endeavored to try the street corn.Regarding the hamburger--it bore no extraordinary adornment. I requested it with cheese, and to my delight, it surpassed any burger I had tasted in many moons. Many believe a burger requires elaborate toppings, but this was a truly noble all-American creation. For a mere $7.99, including fries, it was well worth the coin. My sole lamentation was the limitation of my appetite due to my bariatric sleeve. The fries, coated in a delectable seasoning, were a cut above the ordinary.The loaded fries were also $7.99 and worth every piece of silver. My lady received ample portions, and the bite I sampled made me ponder if I had erred in my choice.The street corn, which some may have glimpsed upon the scrolls of TikTok, are often called corn ribs. These were dipped in a flavorful coating and fried to a golden tan, priced at $6.99 for eight pieces. The sauce was peculiar, leading to a spirited debate between my lady and me about its nature.The service was wonderful, with the staff attending to our needs promptly and courteously, even amidst the festival's chaos.The only misfortune was the multitude of children and the throng of patrons. A vile altercation erupted between some adults and the serving wench. The patrons were foul of mouth and wholly inappropriate. The establishment was brimming, children behaving as children do, and they dispatched a 14-year-old maiden to negotiate. The staff and other patrons managed the situation as best they could. One should not send an ill-clad young maiden, more concerned with her suitor than her duties, to handle such matters. Taking her side and growing angry when she was clearly failing in her task was folly.The total bill, including a delectable piece of cake and two drinks, amounted to $33.88. All in all, a most satisfying repast in a lively setting.

SUCH a pleasant surprise!!! A small town diner type place with a GREAT variety of food offerings! Service was FANTASTIC, with several full length conversations about the place and the food. They haven't been operating a long time yet, but they're doing really well. Breakfast served all day and they're known for their desserts too. Just FIVE STARS all around!
