Five Below isn't a destination store for me but when nearby I enjoy roaming the aisles to see what's new. You can find so many item categories - they just won't be the highest quality, but if it's an item you think is cute or want to try without breaking the bank, you'll walk out with a few things. My highlight this round came from the t-shirts and their funny one liners. Service was available at checkout counters to ensure purchases went smoothly. If you have a question while shopping you'll likely need to seek a staff member.

I first heard of Five Below when I admired a friend's cell phone holder in their car. "Thanks, I got it at Five Below for $5!" I had recently spent three times as much for one from Amazon that fell apart a week after I bought it, so I was instantly intrigued. This weekend I made the trek out to the location in Middletown. It's conveniently located near the intersection of Shelbyville Rd and the Gene Snyder, and had ample parking. I walked in and was amazed. All for under $5, there is a huge assortment of everything you can imagine -- electronic gadgets, decor, exercise equipment, cosmetics. While some of the items cater to the preteen and teen crowd (locker decorations and organizers), there is still enough for an adult to warrant a visit out there. In addition to the cell phone holder that I wanted, I also picked up some earbud headphones and a couple of sheet masks, as well as some candy, all for under $15. I also eyed some of the pool floats and exercise gear (like resistance bands and kettlebells) for my next inevitable trip. The employees were very cheerful and helpful, making it an all around pleasant run to the store. Whatever you need, find it at the right price on your next trip to five below!

The customer service and positive vibes/energy in this store is just incredible. Even on a packed Thursday afternoon, 11 days before Christmas, every staff person I encountered had a friendly and cheery disposition. But, one person stood out. Kelly. She deserves recognition, a raise and maybe some stock in the company. After wandering the store for 5 minutes for a specific secret Santa gift, I say Kelly re-stocking things. I asked if she'd seen the item I was looking for (secret Santa.. I can't tell you what it is just yet..). She stopped what she was doing and immediately took me to where it could be. Then she asked if it had to be that exactly and started suggesting other, similarly themed items. She walked me to that area. She pointed out options, searched behind other items and gave lots of really great suggestions. Then, she noticed my hands were getting full -- so she offered to go get me a shopping cart. I told her she could just point me in that direction, but insisted that I keep shopping and she'd bring it to me. When she returned, she not only had the cart, but had stopped to pick up another item for me -- something my secret Santa is going to LOVE.. and that I would have never found or looked for. She then introduced herself, asking my name and told me to holler if I needed anything else. I kept shopping and unbeknownst to me, she was in the back room, checking the stock for an shirt I'd said I liked but they only had in a medium. Until today, I didn't think of the 5 Below as anything but a Dollar Store -- but the items are actually pretty good quality, many are name-brand. The store was clean, organized, bright and cheery. I'll be back.

What a fun little store to go in!!!!Everything is 5 bucks or less. They have all sorts of beach and pool items, sports balls, posters, t shirts (lots and lots) of t shirts to choose from, cosmetics/beauty supplies, large candy selection and much much more. There is something for everyone of all ages. To ad to the fun atmosphere there was even great music playing thru the store.

I stopped into Five Below strictly out of curiosity! It reminds me of Big Lots and Dollar Tree. Items are priced between $1 and $5 and believe me, there is something for everyone. There are many pop culture novelty items, nick-knacks, cosmetics, candy, seasonal decor, party supplies and more. I think this would be a great place for those looking for children's party items and favors. As with any dollar-type store, the quality of some of the items is similar to the price, but that is not the case for all items. I found the store to be clean and the items were neatly arranged. The store is located near the intersection of Shelbyville Road and the Gene Snyder. There is ample parking as it is part of a shopping complex.

This place is worse than a Dollar Tree. It was missing all kinds of items off the shelf thing or just kind of thrown everywhere I did not enjoy it at all I don't care if everything's $5 and Below some of their stuff I can go to Walmart and get it for cheaper like they had a thing of candy for $5 and I know I can go to Walmart and probably get it for 2:50 so I will not be back to the Five Below and I stay away from it all together

What a fun little store... they have a little bit of something and a whole lot of nothing :-)You never know what you will encounter when you go it and this is a place where I can find all kinds of hard to find candies like the Haribo Smurfs and Berries. They also have lots of fun housewares... cases for phones... and even nice headphones nothing more than $5.00The Staff is friendly and really get into having fun with the customers too.The Girl behind the counter's sense of humor was a real plus too.

Omg! This is one fun store! Nothing is over $5 in the entire store. From candy, shirts, beach items, balls, games, electronics etc. The store is fun for the entire family. Lots of pool fun items and bought a set of auxiliary speakers for electronic devices for $3.50 and they work great! Nice selection and good brands. $5 Wilson basketball. Lots of beauty products including nail polish. This place is a kids paradise and won't break the bank. Great place for kids party items and party favors. They also are the only place in Louisville with Minion tick tacks.

Crazy items for $5 or less. So much to look at and you just might find a hidden treasure in the store. We loved the shopping experience and would recommend to anyone with a budget wanting to shop for so many kinds of people in their lives.

Very cool concept. We found all of our summer needs! And then some more inexpensive finds. Service was mediocre.
