So I have been here twice. Once 10 years ago when the wife and I got a Groupon from residents because at the time they were doing bridge construction and I'm sure they were trying to gather up business. Which worked because the family and I enjoyed it a lot and we came back about 5 years later with my now larger family and a few friends. Not going to lie I kinda forgot about this place until the photos popped up on my Facebook memories today. So it inspired me to share my old photos and review on yelp. When we last went the farm was called Deere farms. The reason we enjoyed it so much is it is a alternative to hubers. Nothing personal against hubers as it is great as well. But this place does not have the insane crowds hubers does and it's more peaceful. The reason you go to farms is for fresh air and space. At hubers it can get stressful with the huge crowds and watching out for your small kids. Off memory this place has the traditional pumpkin patch, a short but neat little wagon Ride through the Forrest, corn guns, corn maze, inflatables, unique play ground and a small Petting zoo. I'm sure I'm missing some things and some things may have been added or removed by now with time and a name change. Every time me and my family went we have loved it. Pricing is a bit on the high end but like most farms during this fall season that is to be expected. They do/did have concessions with hot dogs, sodas and candy apples. So you could spend the day there and eat and take your time. We will have to try and get out here soon and check this place out again. May not be able to This year because of covid precautions (not sure what all is open or even open at all). But if they are open I would highly recommend especially if you are looking for a less crowded and different experience than hubers farm.

While the hubs and I made the best of it since we'd driven far to get here, I believe there to be much better corn fields around. Don't be fooled by the other reviews :-/We did make memories here though and had fun on our day date. I finally marked "do a corn maze" off my bucket list too. :)

I was here for the 2013 Great Pumpkin Run.The route set for the 5k was less than that distance. And my free drink at the end was handed to me in a paper cup instead of the reusable event plastic cup.But it's a nice location with a corn maze (a Maize Maze!).

It saddens me that there are many negative reviews of this place. I'll start off with the name change. They are now know as Farm Life and no longer Deere Farms. They are a working farm, so it makes me appreciate it a little more that they would be so kind as to open up their farm to complete strangers. We first went to Huber's and it was a complete nightmare over there. There was no way they could even pay me to get out of the car. Talk about sensory overload! Ugh. No thanks. The, a light bulb went off. I had remembered coming here in 2013 and suggested we come here in instead. Now, the price to get it is $10 which to some folks I can understand is a little steep. My opinion, I'd rather pay that for each person that deal with the mess that was Huber's any day!Our family had a lot of fun. We went through the family corn maze, my 7yo played in the corn box, the tire thing, the obstacle course, the hay maze, the big dirt pile, the tractor, the trampoline, and then we all went to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. They do have pony rides (extra fee) that we skipped out on. My son had an absolute blast and my 7 month old also seemed to enjoy being outside. I overall just like the low key of this place more.

Went today and took my 10 yr. granddaughter and 2 yr. grandson. What a joke. The train, we were told, is not state certified, so the 2 yr. cried, because he wanted to ride it. He did enjoy the animals. The concession stand was not even open, they had 2 people working. The pumpkins were cheaper than at Huber's, which is where we usually go and we will certainly be going back to Huber's, at least they have indoor plumbing!!! The farm is run down and trashy and the older man, didn't seem to know how to run a business, he got off the tractor, to go sign for a UPS package with a trailer full a preschool age kids waiting to go to pumpkin patch, why couldn't the other guy sign for the package, just not very organized and not a very well run business. If someone came in, with a business sense, they could maybe, turn this place around!!!

If I could give it zero stars I would. Please do not pay to go here. We had a coupon and still got ripped off. The "farm" is a dump. The wagon ride to the animal farm was less than a tenth of a mile. The kid driving the tractor didn't know how to put it in gear. The "tour guide" Sierra (probably the granddaughter) yelled at my four year old son for petting a cat...at the ANIMAL FARM! Overpriced pumpkins and litter everywhere. Go to Huber's Orchard and Winery or Gallrein Farms in Shelbyville, KY.

We bought a Groupon for deere farms last year and we took our family at the end of October. It was a complete waste of time! We were very unhappy with our experience! There were no pumpkins to choose from and what were there were just poor ones that had been tossed in the field. I hope this was because it was at the end of the month and they simply ran out but my family really doesn't want to visit again to find out.

We went on a field trip here and had the most wonderful experience! It's definitely geared towards kids. Our kiddos had a great time going through a kid friendly corn maze (that was connected to the story Spookley the Square Pumpkin), visiting the goats/rabbits/pigs/donkey/mini horse, playing on the giant tractor tire play structure, going down a huge tunnel slide, and so on. Definitely not as commercialized as Huber's, and a much more "real farm" experience. It was a great price and our kids had such a fun time! So you know, the name of the farm has changed to FARMLIFE. That will be helpful in locating it when driving there (as that is what the sign now reads).

This was a great place to take the kids. There is a lot for them to do. We loved the mazes and the animals. My kids loved the bungee trampoline and the bounce house. The pumpkin prices were also reasonable. We ate lunch there and the pumpkin cheesecake is delicious! The apple cider slushies are good too. Can't say anything good about the burgers though...they were cold and overcooked. Wish I had packed a lunch because the burgers were barely edible. The brats looked good though...so if you're going to eat there go for the brats instead. Overall a great place to take your family. Also, they do take credit cards for admission but it's cash only for the rest so be prepared.

Apple slushies were so good! They take visa and MasterCard for admission but only cash everywhere else, so that's a bit of an inconvenience. The animal portion was a little run down. It is a great place for kids, though. The pork chop sandwich was awesome and the prices are good. The people who work there are really nice. Overall a great day.
