Equestrian Woods Catering

Just had the mother's day brunch there and was very disappointed. The food was not that good in general and the service was non-existent. Would never go back.

I had come here once before for my brother's wedding reception. I love the historical feel of the place and the beautiful hardwoods. On Sundays they are open to the public for brunch starting at 10:30am. We called ahead for reservations and they were very obliging. Our server was very attentive to our party of 10. Brunch is a very reasonably priced buffet of various lunch and breakfast items, salads and desserts. I'm not usually a fan of buffets but this one was high quality! Loved the breakfast sausage, waffles, and pecan pie!! Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

We are members of this pool and we are often disappointed in the condition of the bathrooms and the chairs at the pool. The women's restroom in particular has a puddle of water on the floor that you have to walk around in order to get to the bathrooms. You also have to be careful which chair you sit in because half of them are missing straps that you sit on. I gave the place 3 stars because the environment that the pool is in is beautiful. Lots of trees and bushes. The lifeguards are nice and do watch the kids pretty well. My kids love going there and meeting others kids in the neighborhood.

I've DJ'd a dozen or so weddings here and without fail, the service stinks. Everytime there was a sit down dinner, it was well over 90 minutes to get everyone served. The bride's are ready to move on to the first dance, except no one in the second room had been served yet. Ridiculous. The bartender had a tip jar out, when a 21% gratuity is included in the catering bill. That's obnoxious. They have sorry looking veggie/cheese trays, hard to believe that the families had to actually pay for it. The manager is just plain rude. If you decide to have your reception here, I suggest that you video tape the whole event so when things go awry, you will have proof. I know that they have jacked up the agreed upon, contracted price. Please choose another venue for your reception.

Food & services provided are horrible and very overpriced, building needs maintenance and is out dated. Pool is falling apart and also needs maintenance along with the chairs and tables both inside and outside of facility. Wouldn't pay their price for memberships or food, when other places have way more to offer.
