Because I'm about at the boarder between Classic and Vintage in all I say and do and wear - I'm always looking for that special little shop that makes me want to have it all. All of those things I stay awake thinking about from yesterday's long gone now, but all alive and we'll within me, and in my basement and attic."Vintage" search populated just south of nothing, well - there was an address and a name but it looked weird, I believe there was a dash and a random letter sitting curiously upon the end, so I went to check it out.Yes, you guessed it - it was a booth in the mall. Bummer? Heck no! What an opportunity to walk and explore the mall world with a few exceptions to my early mall memory. For one thing, it was on one floor - Queens Center Mall, NYC 1986, the gold standard to me. There were no people either - not in the booths, not walking around - nobody as in nobody, minus the two girls at the very front of the store. Actually I became aware that malls can be all on one floor once I was out of the New York area.Visions of Day of The Dead began, the second George Romero zombie movie after Dawn of The Dead, back then zombies were smarter than they are now, just like some people I know now. Ya ever feel dumber walking away from a conversation with someone you knew years ago and hadn't seen in a while and - well, it's just hard for me to ingest that. Anyway, those zombies entered a mall, what a great horror movie - actually, all the movies in that series were excellent - any horror fans out there? So I bought a few shirts, nice quality cotton tees with a picture of an angry bear on one and a skull on the other and slashed the sleeves off the moment I got to the urban assault vehicle. I've been steadily working out, I'm driving a bit slow with NYC plates in foreign territory, I'm gonna show the cannons - which they're not, but have size when I squeeze the steering wheel in just such a way. There was a pair of boots that I really liked but I had questions about them and nobody was there and to ask about returning them or - ya kno- it just wasn't the right time, but I loved the place. Anything non- perishable was there in 8x10 booth sections, lots of vintage lamps and cool leathers..

We come here to find some vintage stuff, we love the records sellers here. There are a lot of booths here with a variety of goods from new things to used items. The staff is also nice and helpful. They have a large parking lot & if need to bring a trailer for large items they can accommodate.

Peddler's Malls can be hit or miss and the Elizabethtown location is a miss for me. The booths have less the impression of a staged attempt to sell the wares within than the feel that it was cheaper to rent a booth than a self-storage unit and that the owner didn't really have any attachment to the stuff anyway, so if you see something you like, well, they wouldn't be opposed to selling it, I guess, or whatever, man. Unless you want Hot Wheels; then, they have a lot of those. Additionally, I found that the prices were higher than I would have expected given the condition of most stuff I was mildly interested in. On the plus side, there are an amazing quantity of booths to not be interested in. This place stretches back faaaaaaar. By the end, I was bored, jaded, but propelled by the obligation (my own fault, I know) to see the whole place. Overall, the whole experience was disappointing.

Where do peddlers unite?Peddlers mall.Great deals, a yard sale with many booths every thing from art antiques collectables building supply, tires to home goods, hats, dresses, wigs and toys. Some things are priced right. And some things make me wonder if some of the peddlers are getting high on their own supply!

One can easily spend a couple of hours in there -- many vendors/booths to check out, from those with antiques to those with newer items, so you can surely find *something* of interest! You would do well to compare prices, though -- some popular items can be found at multiple booths, & each vendor sets their own prices, so you can save an additional 10%-20% just by comparing several booths. An overall great way to spend a couple of hours, just walking around & taking a look at some of the neat items for sale!

Horrible Experience here today, I've been to a number of Peddlers Malls in the Louisville area and never had this issue. I'll never be back and I recommend not going if you have a service animal. My 14yo daughter is disabled and has a fully trained service dog. When we walked in the door Chrystal, the lady working at the front began hassling me. I explained that the dog was a fully trained service animal covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She informed me that the service dog needed to have a vest or some sort of markings indicating he was a service animal. Then she told me to put him in a cart. I explained that is not required by the ADA and she said, "I don't care, our policy is that they must have some markings." I asked to speak with a supervisor but they indicated she was not available. Another employee named Laverne came over and reiterated what Chrystal said. I pulled out my phone and pulled up the ADA website that indicates service animals are not required to have any markings and she refused to look at it. She indicated the company's policy is that all service animals must have markings. My daughter was embarrassed and humiliated by this situation, not only does she have to live with a disability, but now these ignorant employees are making her visit to the store a nightmare as there ignorance had us waiting about 15 minutes while I tried to reach someone in management who was intelligent enough to know the ADA laws. I'm concerned for other disabled folks who visit this Peddlers Mall. Horrible Horrible experience.
