El Taco Loco

Really good experience here. I was up in the area for work with my boss who came down from Michigan. I know how abysmal the Mexican food in Michigan is and I wanted to show him how we do it here. I was impressed and he was blown away. We each got some tacos, him getting chicken and me getting lengua (my favorite! That I know I can't cook at home). We loved how simple and no frills the meal was, while still being high quality. The locale is pretty basic, same as the meal, no frills. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall great experience, and would definitely come back!

First of all I don't even eat meat fr so I'm confused as to why the chicken is pink lol. Anyway I placed a pick up order for a 3 chicken taco dinner with cheese, and avocado added because I'm a growing girl. It was ready upon arrival, but to my shock when I opened it up, there was no rice n beans included. For $15.23, I didn't even get what I ordered. They talking about they don't do no dinners bi.

Number 1 for authentic Mexican cuisine in Louisville! Get the best there is to offer at an affordable price with generous portions. Plenty of tables available for dine in customers and service is always superb. 5 stars all the way!!

Authentic Open for sit down dining and carry out I did not visit the restroom Menu is available via QR code, I do not know if the price varies for lunch and dinner. The price I paid was more than what was listed. Good size portions. Located near shopping centers and other restaurants on main road. Limited parking When I ordered they were very specific how long it would take and they were on point. I will definitely visit again, the variety of dishes you will not get anywhere else.

Another great authentic great flavor mexican food restaurant. They enforce covid guidelines, so a bunch of fables are blocked. The service is superb. Quick and you pay as ypu order or as you leave.Very clean place. Extensive menu with plenty of choices. I tried their tacos and a huarache. Both excellent. Easy plaza parking. I have to go back and continue trying more dishes. Excellent value portion size flavor and professional service.

One of the best little hole in the wall restaurants I've been . I went for the tacos as that's what I always decide to go for.But I am a huge fan of Menudo. Let me tell you that is is delicious! Made like mom makes it. It made me feel right at home. Menudo is just one of those comfort foods that I grew up as a little boy. It's one of those items you don't find on all Mexican restaurants and it's also an acquired taste. If you have never had menudo and are looking to get something delicious in your mouth hole. Then this is your place. Try it you won't be disappointed. Make sure to add the lemons and cilantro along with the onions it just makes it that much more delicious in your mouth hole. I went during lunch and was pleasantly surprised this place has been here for a while. I guess I never looked hard enough.This is also my second time eating here since my first round.

Incredibly authentic, fresh and perfectly cooked. Art on a plate. English is spoken and modifications can be made for vegetarians/vegans. The tortilla are the best I've ever had. Nice servers.

Excellent food! Had two Taco asada so much meat you could barely fold it over . Flavor was excellent they're hot sauce was very hot . Highly recommend!

I placed an order online. Got in my car to go pick it up. The restaurant received the order, 2 tacos de tinga, 1 taco de carne, and 1 torta. I know because they had it written down and showed me. When I arrived I received a text saying the order had been cancelled. I have to pay in store, I'll get a refund in 3-5 days. No big deal. I can wait a few minutes. I collect my food and go home. When I get home my order was wrong. They got the tacos right but gave me a tostada instead of a torta. I'm pretty mad at this point, so I call the restaurant to complain. The guy that answered didn't speak much English, which is fine. I was about to switch to Spanish and he hung up on me. I called back again to try to explain to him in Spanish and they let the line ring. I was polite, I wasn't angry or condescending. I would never return here.

We decided to go here last minute Sunday evening. They did not disappoint. The food and service was awesome. Definitively recommend.
