Friendly and welcoming. Counter seating for about 8. Fairly small footprint. An adjacent coffee shop covers speciality coffee drinks. Wonderful friendly staff.Excellent breakfast options. Delicious breakfast sandwich. The biscuits are large, square and part corn. Huge biscuits and gravy. Awesome pancakes griddle crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Classic breakfast shredded potatoes, grill crispy. Fresh cut fruit as a side.Very highly recomendedSlainte!!

This is a very popular spot on Frankfort Ave. It's a double building and one side is Eggs and the other is a coffee shop (used to be heine bros) with some tables for Eggs spill over. There is parking in the back and most days that's where to go if you're driving.Pretty good sized menu and they have no trouble with dietary restrictions or accommodations. My friend had a make your own omlete and it was good. My breakfast tacos were ok. The corn tortillas were not very good- almost cold- and while the contents and black beans were good, there wasn't enough of them for the price. There was a bunch of other items on the menu that looked good so I know I'll go back and try again (I think most places deserve a second try especially when the omlete was so good!)

Eggs over Frankfort is a cute cafe vibe must try on Frankfort Ave. After a morning walk I stopped by here to try their breakfast. I was put on a wait list that took about 20 minutes. They are very attentive to calling names and seating people, so don't let this deter you.Once seated drinks came fast and the Server told us about their cinnamon rolls. I ordered a little bit of everything, a biscuit with gravy, a pancake, and some scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious. I do wisht the eggs were a little fluffier, but nonetheless they were great. I think the pancake is very fluffy and holds syrup well, so it does not get dry quickly. Lastly, the biscuit and sausage gravy hit the spot. The biscuit had crispy edges and had a soft center. The sausage gravy was creamy, not overbearing and just brought the whole dish together. Hopefully I will return and try different things on the menu.

A great local place for breakfast or lunch on Frankfort Ave. A bit of a wait on a Saturday morning, but able to wait next door in the adjoining coffee shop. Service and food were excellent. No complaints from the entire group. Entrees included breakfast casserole, "everything"breakfast, breakfast "sammich", and omelette. Would definitely return and recommend!

As a native Louisville, my first visit to Eggs Over Frankfort was a pleasant surprise. Eggs Over Frankfort is a quaint neighborhood establishment serving up great southern breakfast grub. The restaurant itself isn't very big, however the flavors say otherwise. Opting for the country Benedict, the house made biscuit was the highlight! Thick, fluffy and flakey the taste was almost of a Hawaiian style roll although it's clearly the largest biscuit you've ever had. Portion wise, the protein was a little slim with only two pieces of bacon. The sausage gravy was rich in flavor, definitely can tell it's homemade from scratch.Overall it was great first experience, I'll definitely be back when I'm home to try some new items.

Honestly one of the better breakfast places I've been to in Louisville! We came in hungry but still struggled to finish our meals, generous portions and everything was delicious! The hash brown casserole was everything I needed on a Saturday morning brunch :)The service here was quick, and I am always a fan of fresh flowers for the table. There's a coffee shop attached next to this restaurant so I bet if you couldn't get a table right away you could have a nice space to wait.

First visit today, food and service were better than good. I ordered the Omelet "Your Way", can't recall ever having a better Omelet, hashbrown casserole, was good but next time I'll try something different, wheat bread toast was good, jam (I take it jam is a house specialty) tasted great. My wife ordered French Toast which she loved. All in all, a nice experience topped off by a quick trip to Carmichael's Bookstore which is just a couple of doors away.

The last time I was in town I asked one of my uncles if he wanted to meet up for breakfast. He suggested this place (it is close to his house and one of his favorites) and even had one of his brothers come along. It was a nice meal, and at the time, I could easily sit on 4 stars.Fast forward a few months later, it was time to meet up again. This time I was going to surprise him with bringing my mom (he hasn't seen her in about 3 years!), and he decided to pick this place again, and bring same brother as well (the oldest brother couldn't make it though). After this most recent visit, I think the overall experience was 5 stars. The menu, which as you can tell, mostly focuses on egg dishes. However, I was told the pancakes here are some of the best. My mom, and both of my uncles thought so. Personally, I was stuffed on the carnivore omelet I got. Both times, I have gotten an omelet of the many meats. It comes with toast and a side. I got the hashbrown casserole each time, because why not? The food was plentiful and I enjoyed it. If it tasted bad for whatever reason, I was probably still not awake- but hungry enough to eat it all. I am kidding, it was decent stuff.I think my uncle is a local celebrity here, I even asked him if one of the mugs on the wall is his personal one, he just laughed (2 people came up to him and greeted him while we ate, lol).If you come here early on a Sunday, parking is free and usually easy to get. There is an entrance around back, with I assume lot parking as well, but I have not ventured that way. A nice little local spot to get your breakfast and brunch fix.

Delicious food and great service! We loved everything we ordered. Next door is a cafe owned by the same people. The cafe has a variety of different flavors and desserts.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way back home... let me say, the 3.5 stars for the reviews do not do this place justice! I was a little skeptical to try the place, but was so glad we did! The hostess was absolutely a gem. Super friendly, energetic, and personable! There was about a 20 minute wait for a table. We decided to grab coffee from the coffee shop next door while we waited. Espresso was great! Food: We ordered a lot of food, lol. We wanted to try literally everything. The hot cinnamon roll was to die for. 4 of us split one as an "appetizer" - it was rich, so I'm glad we split it! All of our food was fresh, hot, and had good flavor. Their homemade jelly was outstanding, and so was their biscuits! Can't wait to go back the next time we visit Louisville!
