Dubs Custard & Coffee

After you visit the Square in Paoli, you're going to need some ice cream. Up the hill a block, we found Dubs. There are a couple tables outside, more inside and a area with recliners to sit and watch tv and eat your ice cream. I had a chocolate single scoop cup, it was thick, rich, cold and good. A perfect amount for the road home. My husband orange marmalade with was creamy and fresh. He said it was "delightful".Service was friendly but a tad slow. We waited for a long time and we were the only people there.

Dub's is a great place for coffee and ice cream. If you read the Google reviews, I have to agree with the reviewer who commented on the less than friendly/welcoming staff. We walked in and weren't even greeted by the woman decorating (manager?). The staff didn't even thank their FedX delivery driver when he dropped off a project! However, I was pleased that my Yelp! predecessor thought the service was "super friendly". Dubs' products, offerings, and prices are excellent! Their lounge is welcoming, accessible, and simply off the charts in terms of comfort. They have a "Connect-4" game, video arcade, and bathrooms that are impeccably clean (as is the entire restaurant!). I would highly, highly recommend giving them a try. I would return were I traveling again through Paoli. I really enjoyed taking a break on our road trip and thank them. Was in town for a meeting and Googled, " coffee shops near me." Dubs popped up so here I am. As soon as I saw the building I knew it was going to be cool! This place is huge on the inside. There is a lot of tables. I was thinking our next meeting g needs to be at this spot! I feel in love with the quaintness and the staff were super friendly. We chatted for a bit. We decided all churches should have a coffee bar. My brown sugar latte was really good! The prices are about the same as other trendy coffee shops. This shop is locally owned, which I'm always big on shopping local. The cookie was very tasty. The icing was out of this world! I will be stopping on my next trip through. I've got to try their IN-HOUSE homemade frozen custard! Yum!They're open seven days a week starting at 7 AM-4PM and open until 10PM Fridays and Saturdays.
