Drake's - Evansville

Really enjoyed the experience. The service and food at all the Drake locations is excellent!!

I recently dined at Drake's and had a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant offers a pretty good selection of both burgers and sushi. Upon entering, you seat yourself, which adds to the casual atmosphere. However, it did take a bit of time for a server to attend to us for drink orders, menus were already available on the table. Once our waitress arrived, she was friendly and attentive, making sure we were promptly taken care of. While we opted for the burgers, I can't speak for the sushi, but if it's anything like the burgers, it's sure to be good. The tots were crispy, but were unfortunately room temperature. Overall, Drake's is a solid choice if you're craving a well-rounded burger.

It was my first time at Drakes and I was really surprised at home much I enjoyed it. We stopped by for a later meal - around 9 pm - and the restaurant was still packed!Service was a little slow but it was a busy night and we weren't in any hurry. When we finally placed our orders the food came out quickly. I ordered the crab Rangoon roll and the tuna poke bowl, both were fantastic. The crab Rangoon roll was deep fried with crab and cream cheese inside. It was also covered in a sticky sweet sauce which was delicious. Very filling!I also ordered the tuna poke bowl. It's a little on the smaller size but filled with pickled, avocado, carrot and more. Only weird thing was the very large sliced jalapeños which were not spicy at all. I added some hot sriracha sauce and it was divine. I'd highly suggest the sushi menu there!

Came for dinner with work colleagues and everyone really enjoyed the atmosphere and food! We started with a crab Rangoon roll and then ordered a second while we waited for our entres. We had sushi, salmon, patty melt and american mini burgers. If you get the sweet potato fries ask for Carmel sauce! No joke, amazing!

II had the bacon lettuce and tomato salad in there and one of my friends had chili. Both plates were really good. I forgot about telling the waitress that it was a split the cost of our dinners so she handed him the bill automatically assuming he was paying the biWell. Luckily I caught it in time and told him. I was paying the bill. I went to the bathroom and when I came out he had already paid the bill. So then I got really mad. And Brown embarrassed both of us.

Fast service good selection waitress was on the spot efficient and courteous. Food was hot and cooked well tasty and not overcooked. Great atmosphere and very accommodating I noticed how quick they were to seat people and take orders. Kudos!!

I like the variety of choices on the menu. The food is served promptly and it's always hot.

First time at Drake's and would definitely go back. I had the queso burger and it did not disappoint. Fried pickles are also worth trying (the sauce was awesome). I'll be back

The service was good, however the insect larvae coming from the mop really put me off my meal. I also found a hair in my food. Overall not a great experience for me. I will never be back.

The sign said seat ourselves. We stood for a few moments, not greeted, then walked and found an open table. After we walked, the couple behind us was greeted by a server and told they could sit anywhere. We waited 8 minutes, watched 7 employees come by, 4 behind us doing nothing. We did get a smile from an employee and she kept moving. Nothing in 8 minutes. They weren't overly busy. When the lady that at least acknowledged us with a smile saw us get up and leave, there was still not an apology, your server will be right over, nothing. I've been to Drakes several times, but after this experience, it's highly likely my husband and I won't return. We left and went to Bubba's.
