Food was delicious! We had the wontons. Best we've ever had. The nachos were yummy!First time here but will be back.Our server was very nice and knowledgeable!

Great service, great food, great ambiance. Off street parking available, lots of seating options, big bar, nice dining room, terrific staff and very kind people. Food is terrific

Dragon King's Daughter is without doubt one my favorite places in New Albany. What makes it my favorite place is the fact that their lunch menu is reasonably priced with a terrific pre assembled functionality. I would highly recommend trying any of their rolls....my favorite being the flipity as well their seaweed salad is outstanding ! Why would I mentioned the seaweed salad? because it is a seaweed done perfectly which is rare. The bar is where I would suggest going given how terrific they are at the libation station...Kevin is the bomb! Guides you through menu and is a perfect balance between available to chat and letting you"be". He is awesome. Go when the robatto grill is going....WORTH IT! Thats Thursday-Saturday. Only complaint is the host/hostess station ...signs everywhere say "please wait to be seated" - yet one time no one was there for almost 10 minutes and the other time I tried to make a made break to the bar and they practically tackled me....also PLEASE get a paper menu if I forgot my phone....The place is great ! GO!

The food is wonderful! Great atmosphere! The new space really captures the brand! The servers are attentive and kind.

Best Sushi restaurant in Kentuckiana... we've been visiting the area from Texas for 28 years seeking great sushi and finally found it!

This food truck was so good that we went back twice ... in the same night!So I had heard rumblings of this truck but didn't get to see it in action until Derby City Brew Fest. And when I saw it there in the line, I immediately knew where my dinner was coming from.I'm a big fan of Dragon King's Daughter, the brick and mortar business. Its sushi rolls are inventive and always good. They have a great lunch bento box deal and an attractive late-night menu. A mobile version of this deliciousness can be nothing but good news. So I went up to the truck and surveyed the menu. Considering it's "Japanese street food," I found yakisoba (stir fried wheat noodles) for $6, chicken karaage (fried chicken) for $6, Japanese curry on rice for $5, edamame for $3 and a sushi roll, the Indulgent, for $7. Now, the Indulgent is one of my favorite DKD rolls. It's fried with spicy crab, cream cheese and avocado. I had to get that!And I'm always intrigued by noodles, so my boyfriend and I went with yakisoba as well. Both were excellent. The pieces in the roll were huge -- definitely a dinner for one or snack for two or more. And I liked the noodles. They reminded me of lo mein. And while the noodles didn't have any meat mixed in, they were good enough on their own. But the star was definitely the sushi. We grabbed another roll on our way out of the fest. It's the most expensive thing on the menu, but it's worth it. Plus this truck was fast with getting food out its window. I do wish other sushi rolls were offered as well as -- dare I say it -- ramen, but this is a good start. I'm eager to see what this truck and DKD do next!

We are fortunate enough to live down the street from this food truck! The other day, we walked down close to 6 o'clock to grab a bite. We had the Kaiju rice burger and an order of the vegetable okonomiyaki. The burger was served with a side of the okonomiyaki fries which we had debated getting. We were so pleased to discover okonomiyaki condiments on fries are damn delicious. The burger is well was awesome but it definitely is a portion for one person. We are looking forward to going back and trying more!

Wonderful sushi happy hour. Perfect location on Bardstown Road. Nice menu selection for those who want options other than sushi. They are not very accommodating for groups over 12. Make sure you call ahead, but your group will probably be split up if it's a later seating. No soda pop on tap, but their wine and beer selection make up for it.

It's been two days since I tried the rice burger with beef, and its deliciousness haunts me. I would be hard-pressed to recall the last time I ate something so satisfactorily savory. This truck hangs out in front of Kaiju now, and I can't wait to sample more of the menu.

We enjoy dragon kings daughter. They have a great bento box for a lunch special and a lot of unique options for entrees. I removed one star because I don't always find their sushi to be as high quality as some of the other sushi places I've been too and the service can sometimes be a little slow.
