Gayle and I recently visited Bloomington to visit family, especially the 2 darling grand girls. Her Son and his wife had pretty much kept the family at home for several months, and when we offered to buy them dinner one night, takeout was really the only option. There might be better Chinese places within greater Bloomington, but sometimes location convenience (this place was minutes way) is the key restaurant choice factor. There is also one interesting quirk with Dragon Chinese Restaurant in that they don't accept credit cards in person, but did when we ordered over the phone. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, including my favorite (Kung Pao Chicken), plus egg and spring roles. Everyone got what they wanted, with sharing encouraged. Food quality was very good and better than my average Chinese restaurant experiences. The portions were also generous and enough to feed the family for Lunch the next day.

I gave them another chance, after the crap service a year ago.Attached photos are the leaky mess (that also slimed my floorboard) because the cram too much in a bag.I called to let them know I had an issue, and I was met with dead silence. Nothing. Said HELLO, and he was there. Said nothing, still. Obviously it doesn't matter, so......no more chances, Dragon.Decent food, shitty service

We love Dragon Chinese! Whenever we are in Bloomington we usually grab some food from here as a quick go to. Our pup even enjoys the steamed chicken and broccoli with no sauce! Compared to the places in Indy/Greenwood we have had Chinese take out from, this place is far superior! Just make sure you have cash or a check on you because they do not take card.

Having a homeless guy in the restaurant just seating there does not looks good to the imageNeeds cleaning Food just ok, order chicken fried rice, only 2 small pieces of chicken, hardly any vegetables, don't understand why they want to charge extra if you want extra veggies, they should come with it. Vegetables chow Main it is just onions and 1 broccoli Vegetables egg rolls, just cabbage and just fried dough. Would not recommend this food

My son, his girlfriend, and my wife all thought the food was good. I thought it was just blah. Maybe it was me, but everything seemed a little bit bland or different from what I have expected the food to taste like. And this could have been my wife's fault for not checking or picking something up when she was there, but there was no soy sauce or chinese mustard put into the bag. My son had the crispy chicken fried rice, his girlfriend the General Tso tofu, my wife the General Tso chicken, and I had the egg drop soup and a pork egg roll. We also had the crab rangoon which I didn't try but was told was good by my wife.
