Dong Phuong Grocery Store

They make the best Banh Mi baguette in town, and the price is very reasonable! Will definitely return!

I don't live in Louisville, therefore I can't say I've been to all the establishments that have banh mi but I can say that theirs is delicious! They're affordable and fresh - the bread is perfectly crunchy but not too hard that it hurts to chew. The vegetables are ripe and crunchy as well and the fresh peppers and cilantro give it the extra boost of flavor. I'd buy several and stock up to eat throughout the week :)

we go here sometimes 3X's a week. we only buy banh mi sandwiches. they are delicious!! when ordering, just say that you want a sandwich. (banh mis are the only ones they make.) & be sure to specify for hot or mild.

Dong Phuong is in the same lot as Pho Binh Minh. I stopped by due to curiosity. The store is much smaller than Viet Hoa. While it does not carry much fresh produce, it does carry a lot of Asian snacks and noodles. It is kinda like an Asian convenience mart. The owner is very friendly and speaks Vietnamese, Cantonese as well as English. On the weekends, the store carries an impressive collection of homemade Asian goodies: fresh noodle sheets, bahn mi, sweets, and all kinds of Vietnamese things I cannot name or make but love to eat!

They recently change owners so their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches are so good and cheap. I'm addicted to their cafe sua da! =) They also have nuoc mia!

I love this grocery!! All of my needs have now been more than fulfilled. I am a regular at Binh Phuoc, but now I am a huge fan of Dong!

The best banh mi in Louisville. You can't find a better sandwich unless you to back to Vietnam.The service is excellent and the staff is helpful. He can even booked you a trip to Saigon while you are enjoying your Banh mi!
