First time I've eaten in the diner here and it won't be the last even though I had the buffet and it was quite tasty and about average on price. Today's selection was smoked pork and beef & noodles then there was spinach, green beans, spiced apples pinto beans. Desert there was Strawberry pie, apple pie and chocolate cake. Wait staff where friendly and productive so all in all it was a good experience.

At the Marathon truck stop. Tons of parking and they allow trailer drops. I ordered the catfish dinner. As it was a werkend and they close at 4, they had no hot veggies. They nuked me a baked potato though. Everything was perfectly cooked and not greasy. The fish had a cornmeal batter and was moist inside. Their slaw is mayo based. Service was awesome. Good coffee too. Smoking is allowed in the back. (Its a truck stop diner - get over it!). I sat in the front and it didnt bother me.Good stop.

I have been here many times but this is the first time I ordered something besides breakfast. Today I had country fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn, pinto beans, corn bread, cottage cheese, and sweet tea. I got this whole meal for $11 and I could not finish it all. The best part was the pinto beans. They were " oh my god good". This place is a truck stop, and I bet many travelers will pass it by because it's not fancy. The locals eat here. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it.
